3S ca.14amp.My unit was blue with a black impeller. HKs test run had made scratches inside the funnel because the motor was slightly off center.
I had to recenter the motor, fix the screws with loctite. The rotor was too small to balance with my equipment but was ok. Not good, but ok for me.
The thrust of this little thing I dont know, but with 3S I only got 120W and 12A.
I will use this motor to something light.AEO has ridiculious confusing and contradictory specs They are so wrong as to be completely meaningless. This is a decent unit (if it's fitted with the GWS rotor.. some are) but the $15 version with the adh300l motor.. IS... the one to buyI used 2 of these on a 1,3m span Boeing 727. W/ 3S they could barely lift it off. W/ 4S it became rocket but durability was seriously compromised resulting into a emergency landing and, months later, a crash.
As they are very lightweight, each of these EDFs issuitable for a sm all 1.0lb jet running on a 1500-1800mAh 3S pack.Box shows "EDF55-C20 PROKV3800". With a 2000mAh 4s I get 350 gram static thrust out of it ( 203 Watt measured with wattmeter). Not as much as written on the package and in the specs. on this page (485gr at 14V), but enough for my model.
