Great litle EDF with lot of thrust

Nov 29, 2017

Great litle EDF, out of box tested with 3s NOT full charged and 20A ESC, 476g static thrust.
Be very carefull when testing it hand held ! As the thrust incarsing you may apply more force to the tube deforming it and the blades will touch the houseing.
Will power a litle depron F22 parkjet :)

Installed in sky angle fa18 50mm, 25-30amp jpower 64amx stock esc, 1000mah 3s nano 45-90c this is the result.
Auw 320g
Amps 28
Watts 302
That's twice the watts from stock 50 edf and only 10 more amps with no extra weight, high alpha slow passes not a problem and talk about vertical.

Bought two of these to upgrade my twin 55mm Mig-29. Using a 3s 2200 25c both of my fans yielded 260 watts each at 24amps on separate tests. Overall a pretty good fan and seems to produce a lot of thrust. Neither of the fans were balanced very well and its hard to try to balance them because of how small the hole is that holds the rotor to the adapter.

Decent power, but having difficulties getting these to run true. Keep having blade rub issues, despite using a lathe turned locator plate to ensure exact centre motor mounting. Seems the Motor locating /mounting method is unable to keep the motor from moving under power.
Frustrating to say the least
