Outstanding quality and an amazing price! An excellent deal!

I've been wanting to convert my 5b to electric for sometime now, so when I came across this conversion kit-- I jumped at the chance (A good thing too! It was the last one in stock and HobbyKing's price was crazy low). HobbyKing shipped it, and a couple of days later I received it in my mailbox. Now I have to be honest, I never ordered from HobbyKing before, and at that price point--- I wasn't expecting too much. I opened the package and was immediately impressed. Everything was well packaged and protected, clearly labeled (appreciated come assembly time), and beautifully machined and finished. Assembly was a breeze due to the well bagged and numbered screws and the easy instructions (I could have read them but the photos and exploded diagram were more than enough). Everything went together as it should as it should, except for one little hiccup (A very miner and easy to resolve fix). The spur gear plate that holds the spur gear cover, well, the holes for the spur gear cover bolts were slightly off. The fix was easy enough with a drill and a drill bit slightly larger, to widen the two holes (Problem solved). While I had my drill and drill bits out-- It was the perfect time to drill a few holes on the plate to hold my Castle XLX. Like I said, I had nevered ordered from HobbyKing before-- But their prices and products amaze me. I was completely expecting the "You get what you pay for" mantra, but I was thoroughly impressed. HobbyKing has a new loyal customer.

The price is half of everyone else. But it shows. I was missing a few pieces and a few screws, but everything worked out.

Great product!
The included parts feels really solid and not cheap at all. This kit fits perfectly on the HPI Baja series (i have it on my 5T and 5B 2.0)
But i would not recommend using the screws included, they are too soft. Most of them is similar to the others that is used on the Baja. Go buy some in better quality ;)
