My L-59 waits and waits for its wheels. 3 months and still waiting for stock that is promised "within 30days". HK, please update the site with information based on when you will receive stock.

Just got these retracts, the only problem is how do you control them? it did`tn come with any control unit, where can i buy a control unit to work these retracts HK!!!!

These retracts, struts and wheels (consider that these 3 items are all included when you look at the price) are very well made and quite strong.

The retract mechanism is beefy and will hold up to problem up to ca. 8lbs max. Exact same replacement mechanism can be bought here at HK for something like $8.

The struts are sturdy and have almost no play. There are plenty of set screws to secure the unit. They are very well machined, the springs are a bit weak, and a set of stronger springs would be welcome as an option.

The wheels are nicely made, with machined aluminum hubs and solid rubber tires.

These retract units fit the HK Hawk, the CMP hawk, the CMP T-45 and the CMP L-39 perfectly. The three complete units weigh 12.7oz= 361g.
