i have bought 11 planes from hobby king ......most were '' p n p'' ......have never been disappointed .... WAS LUCKY NON CAME IN BANGED UP ... ..their write up is accurate....its a great easy plane to fly ....stable in the wind, and the flaps make it land like a another great feature... ITS STABLE IN WIND THAT 10 MI AN HOUR OR SLIGHTLY HIGHER .........I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW BEFORE ON ANY ITEM THAT I HAVE PURCHASED; AND I HAVE MADE A TOTAL OF 87 PURCHASES, ECS ..BATTERIES ..MOTORS .. SEVERAL RADIOS RADIOS, ETC........I GOT WHAT I EXPECTED.....NO NEED TO WRITE A REVIEW , SINCE ALL THE ITEMS THAT I PURCHASED , WERE THE QUALITY I EXPECTED.......THE ONLY REASON I AM NOW WRITING THIS LONG EXPLINATION IS TO ASSURE YOUNG PEOPLE GETTING INTO THE HOBBY THAT YOU ARE DEALING WITH QUALITY PEOPLE........I KNOW NO ONE AT HOBBY KING , JUST WANTED TO SAY YOU CAN TRUST THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS THAT YOU ARE BUYING ......

Got this plane and no matter what I tried I could not get it to fly.

It wanted to nose down into the ground all three times I tried it, and the last time it tore off the landing gear.

I am a very experienced pilot with 3000 plus flights and can`t express enough what a pile of dog crap this plane is!!

Ok I have had this for a while and finally flown so here is the low down.
Plane is well built, solid and goes together well. All electronics and equipment work perfectly for me. ended up gluing tail on after first failed takeoff flip.
Be carefull with screw nuts glued into the foam for the bolts. In flights she is stable and well powered with 8x6 prop but she just want to stall so much especially in sharp turns so needs speed. 1300 3s battery needed modifications to fit. No chance on bigger battery. Tried the float kit (reason i bought plane)
No way! it can barely take off and i ended up having a swim after it flipped over on takeoff. Conclusion: The plane is ok but.. it is way too heavy to fly well!
657 grams without battery! 775 grams flight weight!. I have removed excess weight: float set flat struts, seats from cockpit, nose wheel and weight in nose, lights and some foam.
Now at 668 grams flight weight with battery. will update after next flight.

Great scale mini plane, arrived in perfect conditions. This plug and play has it all, lights, Flaps, ailerons, rudder, and steerable nose, and all electrics. The battery compartment will only fit a 1300mah 3s. I'm very happy with the plane, i purhased the floats and the manual was in the box, hence get the floats, thay are not expensive and nice. I've not had a chance to fly it yet, but it will, thanks again.

Ordered mine on Monday and received it on Friday morning ( To Central QLD) All in good shape. XT60 on esc correct!!. Was freaking out after reading the other posts. Assembly was quick and fit was good. Noticed the struts seemed long but put them on the wing and fuselage first so when pushing down on the centre of the wing to fit and screw up, the wing ends up with the designed curve ( wingtips up ) "inflection" I think it's called?. Fitted the black 8x6 SF prop it came with and a 1300mAh 3s 45-90c nano-tech (only just fits, no room to move it round for balance). Maiden her this morning over some chest deep grass. Not enough throttle on first throw. At least 3/4 throttle or more into a 9knott breeze and out she went .... very touchy until u get some speed.. trimmed her up during the first lap and she's a ripper!!. Putt 2 more bats through and all good slow landings in the grass. After trimming in flight the second and third launches where a breeze, though she is heavy and needs a GOOD toss. Have fun.....

I change the motor and use Park450-1200

(7.4v - 10X4.7 Prop - 12A - 640g Thrust

11.1v - 8x4.3 Prop - 13.2A -800g Thrust )

Can anyone please tell me on how to mount the propeller on the Engine shaft?
If i put the propeller straight on to the shaft there is no space between the hull and the propeller so it will not work.

Should it not be a propeller adapter included?

This plane is amazing. Looks great, lots of scale details. No faults, and made of strong epo! Many say the ESC comes with the wrong xt60 connector, but mine came corrected. I would highly recommend this products to beginners and all the way up to experienced pilots!
