An excellent quality Plane.

An awesome plane, not a cheap foamy.
This plane has a flawless finish. The factory that makes this plane is booked out for up to 7 months in orders, so that speaks for itself regarding how good their products are.
Its very hard to fault these planes.
All plywood parts are lazer cut, and the coating is Solarfilm and is well cut and finished.
Build time  estimate as being about 1 evening or 2hr for someone who knew what they were doing. The manual supplied is informative and full of easy to understand images and very little jinglish.

Fuselage length: 826mm / 32.5"
Wing Span: 780mm / 30.7"

My power set up: AXI 2212/34 CC 25A ESC with 3S 1800 mAh LiPo pack on a APC 10x4.7 slow fly prop - provides plenty of power to hover and around 20 minutes duration.

Excellent workmanship in the construction and covering, assembly is quick and easy and the wing and stab are removeable for storage.

Flight performance is very good, it is an excellent hover trainer.

Note: If flying from grass, it is replacing the wheels with a larger size.

More power is best

Nov 14, 2007

I bought this plane from the US and recognised it on this site. I used to fly it with a 2212/34 as well. You have to fly it like a pattern plane to get the most out of it with that power set up. Put more power on it and it flies really well and will hover with a 2212/26 or better still add more!! The thick wing means it needs power to fly so rev it up and you will have an even better plane.

Easy to build, and fun to fly. But, you MUST fly it constantly and the CG must be correct! You may have to add some weight to the nose.

This is one hot! little plane! I fly it with a Hacker 20-20L and 20 amp ESC with a 10x4.7 APC and 1350 3S Li-po. Buy one you'll love it.

Extra 300 profile

Excellent model - I have used an identical configuration to Richard Sutherland (as listed above). Flight perfromance is fantastic - It is probably worthwhile keeping the battery pack to either 1000 to 1700 3S - 2200 3S is alittle heavy
