Mini Fabrikator 3D Printer is BACK and better than before. We've taken what was already the most cost effective printer on the market and tweaked it a bit to make it easier to maintain and reduce the risk of thermal shutdowns.

The Mini Fabrikator V1.5 includes moulded rod holders for greater rigidity, moulded side panel fixing blocks to make it quicker and easier to remove panels to access the internals for maintenance and the stepper drivers now have heatsinks to minimise the chances of them overheating during long builds.

To further reduce the thermal shutdown issues (most commonly this is when the object you are printing steps out slightly as the print progresses) we have increased the number of vent holes in the case and the printer comes with acrylic stand-off blocks to raise the whole unit.

Because of the small overall size of this printer it will fit in even the most restricted of work spaces and can be picked up and easily stored, making it ideal for schools and students.

Like any computer hardware the Mini Fabrikator needs software to run it, we recommend to use Repetier-Host as the printing software as it is a simple to set up and use program that most customers will have up and running in about 15 minutes. Other than this the printer is ready to go.

Tiny Boy was originally designed as a learning activity where school students would build the printer themselves, this means the printer is incredibly easy to maintain and service yourself and even upgrade with things like LED lights, direct cooling, LCD screen and SD card slot or even a heated print bed.

Apart from the small but significant changes the Mini Fabrikator V1.5 works just as brilliantly as the original and will deliver incredibly high quality 3D prints that you just won't believe come from such a well priced unit.

This little printer puts out fantastic prints. You can spend 10 times as much and not get the quality of prints that this little printer produces. This is my first Cartesian style printer and for the money it is untouchable! Bang for the buck is definitely there and with some minor tweaks to get it dialed in you will be printing amazing things. With that addition of BuildTak on the print surface you can print ABS very well(takes some tuning and a bit of patience).

Looking for a first printer...look no further!

Knew nothing of 3d printing until I decided to buy a mini fab. Watched all YouTube vids I could find, started messing around on thingiverse and with tinkercad before printer arrived. Had it together and printing in an hour. Started calibrating head with a business card like on vids but got better prints using just paper. Prints adhere to bed better and look real good. Love this thing! Would recommend to all thinking of buying.
