Fat Shark Dominator Optional Head Tracker Module for FSDOMSET

The optional head tracking module is an advanced FPV head tracker that utilizes 3 sensing
technologies; motion is detected by a sensitive dual axis gyro which is continuously calibrated
to a fixed external reference determined by the compass sensor and accelerometer.  The result is the smoothest error-free head tracker available.

This module slots into the FSDOMSET headset for smooth natural head tracking capability.

I have the same module from the predator headset. This thing is unusable. Besides making random movements it also likes to shut itself off. Video:

Maybe if you live in the tropics it works, but when the magnetic declination is bigger (like europe) its completely unusable.

About this head tracker, that's not good. It works very well when you are looking to the horizon or to up. But if you want to look down, forget this head tracker. In this situation (looking down) it drifts so much, that it can reach the servo maximum range. But drift is not all, it gives a lot of movement glitches too. If you google an video called "Bad HT.mp4" you will see exactly what I am describing.

I don't know, but I think that one head tracker that don't let you look well down is not so useful.

Mine it's unusable, it has some self correction thing inside that moves the camera when you're still, when you're looking at one side it moves back about 30 degrees, then the center is not the center anymore... sometime I'm at center and it drift to the side 30 degrees... this happens every 3-4 seconds. I just removed it from my dominator and installed the good old magnetic tracker..

Plug-and-play plug-in module for new Fatshark Dominator goggles. No drift. Dominator goggles have much crisper and un-distorted (although smaller) picture than the older FatSharks I have. Also easy switching between the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz RX modules is very nice.

The additional headtracker works like a charm with my Futaba CG10. You need only one cable from your transmitter to the Fatshark, witch is included. In a german forum a user changed that to use it wireless by using a little 433Mhz System...

The headtracker is installed and configured within a few minutes. GREAT!
