The DominatorV2 builds on the original Dominator’s reputation for display quality to deliver a truly unique FPV headset. The V2 introduces revolutionary 6p plastic optics (with an astounding 8mm pupil entrance diameter) mounted on an adjustable IPD track to deliver the most accommodating display ever.  Quite simply, these goggles will work for everyone.

The blue frame normally associated with plastic optics is gone leaving a perfectly square and focused image floating before your eyes.  Polarized direct view backlights and larger magnification makes the display both brighter and larger than its predecessor.   VGA resolution, modular design, HDMI input and integrated DVR, the DominatorV2 is truly a versatile FPV goggle. The DominatorV2 has same docking ports for back compatibility with existing RF modules (including the soon to be released 1G3 and 2G4 NexwaveRF frequencies) and the Trinity head tracker.

Just got my item today. HK should tell their customers that their Dominator V2 includes a battery because it does. Paired it with FatShark Dominator 5G8 24ch NexwaveRF Receiver Module and its perfect combo for now.

Aside FPV, I Tried also watching movies in hdmi, its okay if you got bored though you need battery to operate it in hdmi or use an external power.

Really nice goggles! I have never tried any goggles before, so i have nothing to compare too.

Battery was included, but as many other have written, there was no reciever included!

Recieved mine with a ugly dent in the case, but i'll live with that. The goggles themselves works perfectly!

The only thing i would have loved on theese would be higher bitrate on the DVR recordings, and to mute the sound. Or maybe provide an INTERNAL microphone in the goggles? Not many people using sound from their aircraft i think?

Recieved in ONE WEEK from order, and that was when they were marked as backordered!

I got my Dom V2 this week. Its the V2.2 Version with 5.8 nexwave RX and Lipo included. Its sharp and bright. DVR is not HD, but its fine in case.
Trinity Headtracker was NOT included (I know).
It takes about 14 days to Germany by SCS-Express.
Im happy with the googles.

the goggles were good , i had to play around a little bit with the IPD , and be sure to position them juuuust right onto my face, or else there would be some blur in the edges , but when I got it just right , the picture was pretty much clear all around.
Good colors , solid quality feel overall ... its been so long since ive flown with Dom v1, so i cant compare those two , but compared to BASE SD , which also have 35 FOV , the v2 is a bit better in the image quality ... and the main selling point for me was the integrated DVR. .. all in all , for the price they are a good set of goggles.
oh yea , i can tell that the dvr has lower bit rate than my fpv japan clone .. and the red LED for the DVR can be a bit hard to see outside in the sun light.
Search octane81 on youtube for DVR video.

Just received my FatShark Dominator V2 goggles after waiting for my pre-order purchase. The goggle quality is good and I am happy to say that a battery and nexwave 5.8 module was included. The hobbyking product description says that the battery and RX module are optional accessories and not included... Happy Days :)
