Does exactly what I need. Perfect for 8 X 4 prop and 3S lipo on a small 3D plane, or 7 X 6 prop if you want more speed and less thrust (warbird style plane). Will buy this again if I need more.

Works very well, runs smoothly on a 450 gram park flyer. I'm using a 8 X 4 slow flyer prop, 20 amp ESC and 1300 mah 3S lipo. I don't use a lot of full throttle and where I fly is cold weather so the motor stays cool to the touch. However, others may get different results with an 8 inch prop and 3S lipo. A 7 inch prop and 3S lipo is a better combination.

Didn't use it yet, but seems very good motor in hand. Plan is to use it in Air Hogs plane.

I use these 2812s & 2822s for all most all of my scratch build EPP wings & scratch built Dpron planes they are a work horse IMO just becarful as the wire coming out of the motor can be pulled lose I always put epoxy to hold the wires up tight to the winding after doing that they hold up really well and I have re-built ( re-wrap the motor wire's) a lot of them too !!!

Its a greath motor lots of power. stays cool eaven on 17 amp. but the bbeerings seem to be not the best. after e few flights they go rough dont making noise only the motor spins not very easy seems little tight. but still recommendet.

This seems to be a great motor for a brushless upgrade of the Multiplex TwinStar. I made motor mounts using a 3D printer.

Motor: FC28-12 brushless 1534 kV
Propeller: HobbyKing Fluorescent 7060 Slow Fly Propeller (7x6)
Static thrust: 660g
Current: 12.1 A
Battery: 3S 2200 mAh
ESC: Turnigy Plush 18A
