Nice looking kit and very cheap. Flying ok but material could be more tight. Easy to land but if grass is too long you need to throw it. See my youtube video by searching my stupeduu nickname. There are also specs that I used.

For $35 i am quite happy with this jet. Assembly will take some time and make sure you check your elevator servos are going to move the correct way before you glue the two fuselage sections together. I used the CG marked on the bottom of fuselage and it flew pretty good with 1600 3s battery. It was fairly windy the first day i flew it and I noticed a little wobble in the roll action, but all in all very nice!

I built this plane with a Turnigy Plush 40 Amp ESC and the Turnigy 4000 kV 2615 motor. I now realize that this motor is too small for my 4S 30C batteries, it gets really hot. I should have gotten the 2836 outrunner which is bigger and can handle the 6 blade fan that comes with this plane. I guess I will have to limit throttle in flight.
The plane looks great, with nice details and all. I had some trouble building it though. First, I was not aware that you need to reverse a servo or need a servo reverser for the elevator. Luckily I was able to take a servo apart and reverse it, following instructions on youtube. Then I had some trouble cutting the battery bay, because it is too small for any of the batteries I had (ranging from 1600 to 1800). There's not much foam to cut, so you've got to be careful, and you also have to cut through the plastic battery bay. If you order a recommended 1300 size battery, you may be fine. I also had to balance the fan considerably and I struggled getting the front landing gear installed. While handling the plane during assembly, I put some dents and scratches in the EPS foam, which was to be expected. Personally I like EPS. EPO is tougher, but EPS is lighter and easier to fix; it breaks and doesn't bend like EPO does. All in all it took me an hour or three to put it together, mainly because of the battery bay.
The day of the maiden flight, I foll

I got one of the first batch it is a nice plane the ele are huge and i have servos set at 50pcnt of max .

I also have 4 of HK 9G servos one for each control surface.

Where the ele attaches to the jet the little tounge of foam is narrow and week i placed a hollow carbon rod inside the bottom half of the fuse from the middle of the fuse pushing through the foam ending level with the back of the jet i then poked the hinge half into the carbon rod and glued it. This or some other reinforcement is needed or the ele will make the foam bend or break...

I have covered my jet entirely with http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11338 even the canopy is covered i reckon it looks koolest. ;}
I have HK 60A and 2200 4cel with 3500kv ex LX jet motor (same as warhead 3500kv).
This is the fastest jet i have much faster than stinger 64 on 3cel :}
even faster than a jettiger.

Hope you have fun flying this and can tell me of your setup

CG is at curved D shapes curved end

Finaly i have cut a rectangular hole from the back of the canopy to the flat bit of the D and put my batt there with the esc glued into airstream and rcv in the balsa box below..

Have Fun
