Tamiya 1/10 Scale Toyota FJ Cruiser Orange Body (CC-01 Chassis) 84401

The FJ Cruiser is a 4WD vehicle which made its debut in the North American market in 2006 and Japan in 2010, winning a host of fans with its Land Cruiser 40-inspired style and quirky form with round headlights, oval front grill, chunky fenders, and trio of windscreen wipers.

Tamiya's 1/10 scale model's tough polycarbonate body accurately recreates the American spec version of the car, and is pre-painted in orange with a white roof section and Tamiya smoke colored windows. Separate metal-plated parts are included to depict door mirrors with lamp, spare tire cover, and front grille. To add the finishing touch, this kit also comes with LED units for the front and rear of the model.

The CC-01's highly reliable and efficient full-time 4WD system features a horizontally-positioned motor, which transmits power to the front wheels via the gearbox and to the rear wheels via prop shaft.

Front and rear differentials enable smooth cornering, and for even greater off road performance on rough terrain, the rear differential may be locked during assembly. The chassis suspension employs double-wishbone front upper I-arms and lower H-arms plus rear rigid suspension.

With CVA oil dampers fitted to the front and rear, there's enough cushioning to take on even the roughest surfaces. It also looks the part, with cool 2-piece black plate-rimmed wheels plus 94mm diameter tires.
