Well finished EPO skids with durable alloy struts. Once again I jumped on an item too early. Way too small for my project, an amphibious XAircraft X650 Pro Quad, so I will have to be happy simply jumping over puddles for now. Very sturdy construction, would be perfect for the right sized airframe (small)

Floats came in today, hardware and foam floats are very nice. Im going to try fitting these on an AXN. They measure 19.5 inches by 2.5 inches each float and together with the bracket they are a total of 10.25 inches wide.

Floats arrived in good condition - still to work out fitting to Skyartec 182. No hurry as river at back of house still frozen from winter !

have received the floats today. badly disapointed.
floats were broken during shippment. both are bended to the right.
useless crap. freight costs for replacement would exceed product value by far. :-(

These are just what they look like, really cheap floats. They are pretty light, but the aluminum hardware adds a bit. If you had a foamy that you can put carbon stick landing gear on, then you could save a lot of weight. One problem though is that the mounting tabs are pretty short fore aft, so you don't have much adjustment range.

The biggest problems with these are that the step is so far forward. Standard step placement is just behind the CG, there should also be a little float sticking in front of the prop. With the step where it is, you tend to skip more on landing, or if you put them rearward, then you tip over. These are designed for a specific plane, and may work fine on it, I bought them for a biplane I had, and I didn't like the results. They floated fine, but handling was not what I wanted.
