    HobbyKing 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm PLA 1KG Spool (Fluorescent Orange)

    The range covers PLA, ABS, Flexible, Color Changing, Luminous, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Acetal (POM), Metal Composite and even a water soluble filament for printing molds. So there is a filament for every project you have in mind. HobbyKing filaments have a stable melting point, good round shape and most importantly a 0.05mm uniform diameter tolerance for a consistent flow rate.

    PLA:

    PLA has a lower melting point and prints easier than other materials. One of the most important features is that PLA is non-toxic, and even has a sweet smell when printing. PLA has a low shrinkage rate and it is very rigid with minimal flex. This material can print extremely high resolution models and is perfect for a wide range of uses. PLA is considered stronger than ABS but is more susceptible to cracking when subjected to flexing, impact or torsional loads so the mechanical needs of the print project need to be evaluated.

    PLA has a huge range of vibrant colors and opacity for that perfect look whether it is artistic or utilitarian, in short a great material for 3D printing. PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead, and can stick to glass or a PCB plate with a binder such as hairspray or white glue for a curl free print.

    It does the job with CR-10S 215°C / 60°C
    The orange is really translucent and bright, no real problem with this filament.
    As I dont want, for my first print with it, translucent items I increase infill.
    See the file tabs for uploaded pictures.
    First print was a fan cover for fatshark (filled @ 100%), second was a squishy turtle(still 100%).
    As you may see, the orange color is then more carrot than orange fruit.
    Third print the scroll wheel is done with 30% infill.
    Good buy as it prints easily. I fully satified with it.

    Disappointed. Where it says fluorescent orange it should have said translucent orange. I've never had any luck at all with translucent PLA. Money wasted. Please add translucent to the product description.

    printed with this color today. being florescent I was expecting it to be more of a solid color. it's a translucent orange that will really pop under a black light. I took a picture outside as a sample. but I didn't get the pic with the black light.
