FrSky FGS-01 Telemetry Fuel Gauge Sensor (for use with FrSky Telemetry Sensor Hub)

Measurement Levels: Empty, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, Full
Length of the Sensor Film: 62mm
Installation: Use double-sided tape to attach both circuit board and sensor film firmly to the outside of the fuel tank.

How to replace the sensor film:

Lift the locking tab on both sides of the port, insert the sensor film and press the locking tab back into place to secure the sensor film in the circuit board. Confirm the orientation is correct.

Note: The fuel tank MUST be empty at the start of this process for the sensor to accurately read the fuel level.

I have to admit I only bought it because it was the only hub sensor that I did not have ( I dont fly gas modells at all) . Looks like it works by photo exposition as I was able to make it change only hiding or showing part of the sensor strip , so this sensor does NOT go inside the tank in contact with the fuel , but I think you must stick it outside of a transparent fuel tank .

This unit seems to be working just as it should. Fuel leve is read trough capacitive changes caused by proxsimity of fuel but also metal things, fingers,... so that is a factor.
