    Product Description

    FrSky TEMS-01 Telemetry Temperature Sensor (for use with FrSky Telemetry Sensor Hub)

    Up to two temperature sensors can be used at the same time. They are commonly used to read temperatures of model accessories, such as electric motor, ESC, glow and gas engine cylinder head, battery, muffler, voltage regulator, BEC, tail pipe and ambient air.

    Measurement Range: -20~250 degrees Celsius/ -4~482 degrees Fahrenheit

    Accuracy: 1 degree Celsius/ 1 degree Fahrenheit
    Installation: Use zip ties to hold the temperature sensor tightly against the accessory that requires temperature reading.

    After I upgraded my plane to a bigger motor I started to have problems as the weather got warmer. Sure enough looking at the temp readings the ESC was overheating and shutting off. I upgraded the ESC and set the telemetry warning to 80C Now my ESC runs around 60C therefore I never see the alarm coming on. This temp sensor really helps when experimenting with different props. I like instrumentation and I find this temp sensor great for monitoring electrical components and foresee any malfunctions.

    been using this for a while, facing the airstream for a cylinder head temprature, temp change with increase in speed is notices, so for measuring CHT, you need to postion it properly
