A full range, telemetry capable 16 channel receiver in miniature, complete with S.BUS, Smart Port & telemetry!
FrSky's X4RA receiver has 4 PWM outputs from the normal servo outputs as well as the FrSky Smart Port, S.BUS and a traditional A2 port.
An FrSky FBVS-01 can be connected to the A2 port for simple voltage monitoring in addition to the full range of Smart Port hubless digital sensors.
This is the 2015 version which complies with current EU regulations. Your Taranis X9D will need to have the latest firmware update.Alternatively, you can reverse update the X4R receiver.
• 3~16CH (1~4CH from conventional channel outputs,1~16CH via S.BUS)
• RSSI (PWM) output
• S.BUS and Smart Port
• Lighter weight and physically smaller than D8R-II & D6FR
• Two selectable failsafe setting options - native failsafe or user programmable failsafe
• External analog telemetry port (AD2)
• 2015 Firmware
Number of Channels: 3/16
Operating Voltage Range: 4V~10V
Operating Current: 100mA
Operating Range: Full Range (>1.5km)
Compatibility: FrSky X-series modual (XJT, etc) & Taranis X9D in D16 Mode)
*Note: Does not work with D-series module.
Still waiting for its arrival but I have heard amazing things about this receiver. It is what a lot of the "pro" quad pilots useGreat little receiver! Very happy with it. I have installed custom firmware to output CPPM on signal pin 1, in order to work with naze32 (naze32 will not accept S.BUS!)
So now I have pin1=CPPM pin2&3=PWM and pin4=S.BUS simultaneously from this little unit.
Quick and easy mod after some googeling.
