    The FT009 is a High Speed, V-hull racing boat that is fast, fun and easy to use. Its stylish design is nice to look at and it really performs for a boat of this size. If you capsize the FT009 during high speed cornering no problems! It has an inbuilt self-righting function, just apply the throttle and it flips up the right way. All out full speed power runs and sharp banking turns on your favourite waterway are a blast, the FT009 is a ton of fun packed into 460mm of high speed boat.

    Being completely ready to run, it is great for both beginners and experienced boaters alike and would make an ideal One Design race boat for novices wanting to get into RC electric boat racing. It’s powered by a 7.4, 1500mAh V Li-ion battery which really packs a punch and comes with a 2.4GHz transmitter offering interference free running at any boating site. The motor, ESC and steering servo are all pre-installed.

    Grate boat

    It's grate boat. Fast, powerful. Not to big but OK. The motor it's so hot very quick, maybe brushless with other cooling system will be helpful.
    For play in smal lake are awesome .

    i got 2 of those boats. In both cases the transmitter was not working. I then found out that in the battery compartment they build some stupid dividers into it which prevents the AA batteries from connecting. Error by design. After breaking them out it worked fine. Boats are cool but the controls are as cheap as it gets. needs some modifications to have fun.

    Un super bateau pour dbuter.
    Il est rapide maniable et sa fonction de retournement automatique est un vrai plus.

    Nanmoins, mme si il est 'Ready to Run', il est important de dsactiv la scurit qui est dfaillante (voir sur internet), cela vous vitera une baignade.
    Je l'ai test la mer, aprs avoir augmenter son tanchit avec de la colle, et c'est un vrai bonheur.
    N'oublier pas d'acheter des batteries supplmentaire et un 'lipo monitor' car mme si le bateau une scurit en cas de sous tension de la batterie, le seuil est beaucoup trop bas (~2.8V).

    I bought two of them, the green one didn't work. Obviously the Receiver in the boat was not ok. Then I found out the re-shipping to Hobbyking was so expensive that I will probably throw this boat away.

    Very simple design, very sutable for kids and begginers. Boat is very stable at high speeds, very little chance to turn it over. Downsize is the short run time with original battery, just around 5 minutes. I am considering to upgrade to Lipo battery.

    Super petit bateau, idal pour amuser les enfants, mais attention, il va assez vite, viter dans une piscine. S'il se retourne sur le dos (ce qui est trs difficile car il est trs stable), faire une marche arrire fond d'1/2 secondes puis de suite une marche avant fond et se remet tout seul dans le bon sens. Avantage pour les enfants, l'hlice ne tourne que s'il est en contact avec l'eau. Lorsque l'accu est dcharg, il rduit automatiquement la vitesse pour le ramener. Pour le prix ne pas hsiter, prendre quelques accus d'avance Pour l'adaptateur secteur, il n'est pas aux normes franaises donc prvoir un adapter, ceux proposs dans la catgorie accessoire ne s'adaptent pas sur les prises franaises (pas de trou pour la prise de terre). Toutefois l'accu possde des fiches standard dont peut tre charg sur n'importe quel chargeur en mode lipo.
