you have to look past the paint work on this one its awful! but the machine itself is very good try and get out of I want it now, and I want it great frame of mind. take advantage of the sell off price and you have an absolute bargain. pop to the local car accessary shop and get half a dozen cans of paint, you will end up with a unique model and you did it your self.
The alternative is to pay a great deal more at the model retail outlet and it will still break if you land heavy, and you will be even sadder!!
I have posted a couple of photo's in the files section of a sand and green scheme, about 10 hours work in all make stencils and its easy to do

I too got the Green color scheme.

why can't hobbycity allow us to indicate our preference? I like the blue scheme.

It is misleading by putting the pics with blue but deliver a green.

As mentioned by others, this is the first time i get very disappointed with Hobbycity service. Also, the motor was not properly mounted. it is shaking. And problem is the cowling cannot be removed and that makes access to tighten the motor difficult

Nicely prepared and flable requires considerable nose weight before flying

was also rather disapointed with the plane. i got the green model also not the gray and blue on pictured. other than that it was packaged perfectly with not a dint in it. yet to fly might get the maiden flight in soon.

Very nice plane ,but you have to adjust carfully the CG before the first fly.

Beautyful when running slowly at 2m above ground!

Guanli FW190 Part 6

The CG is 27mm back from the slot where the landing gear is inserted into the wing. I forgot to mention that the motor setup I use is direct drive... no gearing.

This airframe has the difficult point in the linkage of the aileron though assembly is easy.

I changed to two servos.

When flying, standard Spinner is detaching it because the vibration is large.

Guanli FW190 Part 5

The foam repairs easily with hot glue, so any crash damage is a quick fix. With the installation of the motor, I pulled the mounting stick out and glued a large piece of blue core foam into the cavity, then glued some thin plywood to the front of that piece. I screwed the motor flange to the plywood. I took a measurement of the propeller position before I started and worked back from there with the new motor.

Guanli FW190 Part 4

I put larger diameter wheels on the wing gear and it was ok on dirt but most landings on grass would rip the plastic mount out of the wing. Belly landings are fine on grass.

As another reviewer stated, sometimes the hinges are not great and come loose. It is an easy fix with some packaging tape placed on either side of the control surface to act as a hinge.
