Omni-directional wheels are useful as they roll freely in multiple directions on the rollers mounted around their circumference. They are great for use with skid steering robots as they allow for a change in direction while maintaining the original orientation.
This single layer omni-wheel is constructed from low friction Polyoxymethylene (POM) and reinforced nylon.
