The Pzkw VI  or "Tiger I" is perhaps the most famous German tank of World War 2.  It was certainly to become one of the most feared tanks of the war.

It was very heavily armoured, so heavily in fact that when the allies first confronted it, their 75mm shells simply bounced off it.  It also packed a killer punch and carried a powerful 88mm main gun that was capable of knocking out any tank during the war.

It was an innovative design and the Tiger I, because of its weight, was the first German combat tank to be fitted with overlapping independent road wheel suspension and wide tracks to provide better weight distribution and ride.  This would later be applied in the design of other German heavy armour including the Tiger II.

The Tiger I saw action in Russia and North Africa but its reputation was sealed during the Normandy campaign in June 1944 when Tigers scored victories against the British and American forces out of proportion to their numbers.   The last thing you wanted to see as a Sherman Tank Commander was the deadly Tiger I.

This fantastic 1/16 scale radio control version of the Tiger I delivers improved scale appearance and functionality including a rotating main turret and the gun barrel elevates 60 degrees.

The track wheels run on an independent suspension system just as the real Tiger did and this makes traversing difficult terrain very easy.  Add to that an Airsoft firing main gun with simulated recoil, a smoking exhaust and some very cool engine and gun sounds and you have the making of some great model tank battles!

Finished in authentic German armour grey this Tiger also has plenty of scale parts to fit to the model and comes with a scale Tank Commander.  Additionally the drive wheel and idler wheel have also been painted on this version.  There are also spare track links, a decal sheet and comprehensive instructions.

This is a worthy RC version of the most famous WW2 German tank and given its finish and features it is truly great value for money.

2 times of use, and smoke has stop working. This is the quality of this product... Shipping costs are more expensive than the amount of the tank

Nice tank, it's a heng long tiger 1. Battery are of 1700 mah NiCd, and have arround 20 minutes of play time, i upgraded this with a 2S 2200 mah lipo for extend this time. Smoke works well, but in my opinion the quanty of this are poor. A good paint job is required if you want a Afrika Korps Tiger
