OK

Gimbal is OK. However, the manufacturer makes a mistake when crimping the ball bearing because it is damaged. After installing the 14x8x4 gimbal bearing works like a dream.

Two axis, not three

Mar 09, 2017

Unfortunately it doesn't say, if it's a 2- or 3-Axis Gimbal.
Also the photos give no answer, because you can't see the area, where a yaw-motor should be seated.
If there was an explosion view at the "files", it would become clear.
I will do that later this day.
Now I have to experiment, to get a third axis running.
A bit disappointed.

Got it, overall quality is pretty good. All elements are little dusty, I suppose they didn't clean this up after CNC cutting.
Very important!!! You must be very, very gentle with screws on clamps on 12mm rods (smaller ones) are tightened with m2,5x12mm screws and on the other side m2,5x5. If You overdo the tightening force You will damage thread. I damaged 4 threads. Clamp will hold rod but to be safe I need add longer screws.
Clamp got 14mm height 2mm carbon fiber plate on both sides.
These screws are little too short, so I suggest to but already with this gimbal longer screws like m2,5x14mm.

To HobbyKing: You can suggest producer to make this clamps of little stronger material or add longer screws.
