The case itself its very good, with one BIG design flaw!
The glass lens are too close to the gopro lens (in not actually in touch), I've crashed and the inpact broke my gopro lens, in spite of the glass lens of the case did not suffer any scratch even.. keep that in mind, and I'll try to add some filling in the front of the case to distance the two lens.. Now I had to buy new gopro lens, wich are costly and difficult to change.

The case is very well constructed never the less

GoPro is destroyed after crashing! I will be buying another one It does a pretty good job at protecting the Gopro I've had a total of 16 crashes with the case on the B-40. This last one I just happen to hit a rock, I thank the price should be around $15, then it would be a good value. Over all its a good product. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grwkUJ94IPU

All up I am pleased with the case. It seems quite sturdy and the foam padding fits very nicely to the insides. Hopefully the foam helps a bit with keeping dust away from the lens.
The slots in the front panel were too tight and it was really hard to get the smaller panels to fit in to it. My right angle video out cable is bent outwards by the back panel of the case, but it fits well enough that it works. The rubber rings that hold it together overlap the top button and the USB plug, but they are easy to pull out of the way.
It would be nice if a little more thought had gone in to the placement of the rubber rings and, since the rings hold it together, a little more play in the tabs/slots would make it easier to assemble.
All that said, I'd still buy a second one if I had another Gopro.

I was very impressed with the quality of this casing.. however, I find it odd that HK did not think about making it work with their own GoPro 3 video out cable! You can press it in, but I would not risk the GoPro 3 with the constant pressure of the video cable being forced into the camera.

This product came to me missing the front hole for the power button. I contacted HobbyKing and sent them pictures and they told me to drill the hole myself and gave me a $5 credit (not enough to make up for the hour or more spent taking pictures, contacting support, drilling the hole, etc)

The case is very difficult to get apart if you need to take the GoPro out. I have a bunch of multicopters, so I need to move the GoPro around quite a bit and getting the case open and closed is difficult. Also, the screw that holds the case to the base was too big to go through the hole smoothly. I need to use a socket to twist the threads through which can be a hassle out in the field when you want to adjust the angle of the camera.

I would just stick with the regular GoPro case. Drill a bunch of holes in it to make it a bit lighter.
