The Goteck range of metal cased digital mini servos are up there amongst some of the best for quality and reliability at a price that offers excellent value for money. The cases are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, this supplies strength to the case for the mounting and the gear train, it also acts as a very good heatsink for the motor and amplifier.

The HC2125T offers a high voltage metal geared, metal cased digital mini servo which has exceptional torque without sacrificing too much speed. This is an ideal servo for 3D planes or 450 size helicopters, would be particularly good on CCPM and flybarless systems. This servo is very happy to operate on 6~7.4v making it ideal to run directly from a 2s lipoly battery.

I bought a couple of these servos for their very high torque for one of my robots.
They really are powerful but when I unfortunately stalled one the output shaft broke.
On closer examination the shaft is 2.36 mm diameter but is bored out to 1.9 mm leaving a wall thickness of only 0.23 mm. Because I had removed the connector it is modified so I can't claim on the warranty. Worse still I can't find another servo of the same size with as good a torque so I am going to either have to buy another and hope that doesn't break or redesign my robot.

I purchased 4 of these for my Viggen and two of them are fluttering widely on 6v (at random). I set the voltage back to 5.5v and the flutter has stopped however they should run up to 7.4v! The bec im using says its 20a and as far as i know shouldn't be a problem. Any idea? If i need to replace these two my hard work on the wing will be ruined! I should also mention i plugged them directly into the receiver and the problem is still there (I was thinking it was the extension lead).

I installed 4 of these servos in a 3D plane. 2 of 4 have a huge shift of the central position, more than 5 mm on a flap and more than 10 mm on the elevon. So the plane is impossible to pilot. I regret thisinvestment which makes me waste my time and my money. I give 1 star because I cannot give 0.

I purchased only one Goteck HC2125T as a test to see what my money buys. Except for the deadband being 5X wider (that's a bad thing) than advertized, I'm highly impressed with this servo. It's only been on the bench and run at 5.5V but what I see makes me feel good about the purchase. It's a metal gear (steel for last two gears) servo but as new there's no discernible backlash at all. Should hold up very well. The output shaft spline is 100pcnt compatible with arms made for Hitec micro servos such as the HS56 and HS65. This gives great flexibility with regards to arm shape choices and stiffness, something this Goteck HC2125T really needs when the full voltage is being applied. It's a brute for its size!
