TURNIGY, the name synonymous with performance, reliability and innovation is excited to release a powerful new battery chemistry in the Turnigy Graphene!
What does this really mean for you? Well not only do Graphene batteries go harder for longer but they're unlike anything you have seen or used before.
Turnigy Graphene packs utilize carbon in the battery structure to form a single layer of graphene just 0.335nm thick, making that type of battery substrate the thinnest known to mankind. The graphene particles form a highly dense compound allowing electrons to flow with less resistance compared to traditional Lipoly battery technologies.
The result is a battery capable of maintaining greater power output whilst remaining much cooler under load. Since heat and resistance are the natural enemy of batteries Graphene chemistry has significantly reduced these problems and the result is an incredible boost in cycle life.
Turnigy Graphene batteries are the new standard for serious hobbyists who require POWER ON DEMAND.
Voltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 176g (including wire, plug & case)
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT-60
Note: Graphene LiPo Batteries only require a standard Lipo battery charger.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries.
• Power density: 0.15-0.17kw/kg (5Ah-16Ah)
• Power density: 0.13-0.15kw/kg (1Ah-4.9Ah).
• Stable High pack voltage through duration of use.
• High discharge rate, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, packs stay much cooler under extreme conditions
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge.
• Maintains higher pack capacity even after hundreds of cycles
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life 600+

Good reliable lipos.I using this battery, battery is good 2600 kv motor 30A esc 2.30 min flight time.
This battery flash deals but no discounted. This normal price 27.21 dollars. Discounted price 17.99 dollars.Good battery, works fine on high amps, from 3 minutes(hard pushing) up to 5 minutes on my 220 quad with 5045 props. Handles high currents, will buy moreThese batteries do very well handling the high amperage my quad wants. They are also very tough and hold up well because of the plastic plating and thick heat shrink. The only problem I have had is the black XT-60 connector they come with fits very loose in a standard XT-60 connecter (the yellow ones). I have had them unplug going through tree branches, tall grass and so on. Where you normally could fly off, but then you have no power and can not. I have also had them come unplugged in crashes, which in one case made it very hard to find my quad! If I could of turned on my beeper it would of made it easier to find in the tall grass,,,,, but I had no power. Not a big deal I just changed out the plugs, but it would just be nice if they came with plugs that fit tight.
Just my experience.Great batteries.
They perform well on my high amp draw miniquad, and take physical abuse well, due to the thick heatshrink covering and plating inside the heatshrink.
Their lifespan is pretty good too if you use a storage charge.Amazing battery, i get 3 mins of super hard flying time on my light 200 build drawing peaks of roughly 100Amps in punch outs, this battery handles it with ease coming down barely warm, absolutely awesome. I never notice sag with this battery but with the turnigy nano-tech 45-90c 1300 it noticeably sags in flight.
Good stuff hobbyking!Good battery has an energy reserve, especially in a freestyle fly. I recommendGood battery has an energy reserve, especially in a freestyle fly. I recommendvery nice battery love the package it comes in on par with apple products got to be best battery I have tried to be honest very impressed and I got them at a bargain price of 11.89 GBP on sale and shipped with in 24 hours top jobbie hobby king thank you see again soonThis battery puts out good power on par with some of the best batteries. They are a bit heavy for its size. It has pretty good protection from prop strike. It has some plastic or something under heat shrink that saved a battery for me. Probably the most annoying thing is the length of the main lead and the balance lead. These will mostly be use on a multi rotor. Both need to be shortened quit a bit. Maybe a version of this where the leads are smaller and another exactly like this one would be nice. No idea on longevity yet.
