TURNIGY, the name synonymous with performance, reliability and innovation is excited to release a powerful new battery chemistry in the Turnigy Graphene!

What does this really mean for you? Well not only do Graphene batteries go harder for longer but they're unlike anything you have seen or used before.

Turnigy Graphene packs utilize carbon in the battery structure to form a single layer of graphene just 0.335nm thick, making that type of battery substrate the thinnest known to mankind. The graphene particles form a highly dense compound allowing electrons to flow with less resistance compared to traditional Lipoly battery technologies.

The result is a battery capable of maintaining greater power output whilst remaining much cooler under load.  Since heat and resistance are the natural enemy of batteries Graphene chemistry has significantly reduced these problems and the result is an incredible boost in cycle life.

Turnigy Graphene batteries are the new standard for serious hobbyists who require POWER ON DEMAND.

Specs:
Capacity: 2200mAh
Voltage: 3S1P / 3 Cell / 11.1V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 225g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 106x35x31mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT-60

Note: Graphene LiPo Batteries only require a standard Lipo battery charger.

Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries.
• Power density: 0.15-0.17kw/kg (5Ah-16Ah)
• Power density: 0.13-0.15kw/kg (1Ah-4.9Ah).
• Stable High pack voltage through duration of use.
• High discharge rate, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, packs stay much cooler under extreme conditions
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge.
• Maintains higher pack capacity even after hundreds of cycles
• Fast charge capable, up to 10C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life 600+

  • Capacity (mAh) 2200.00
  • Discharge(c) 65.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 10.00
  • Length-A(mm) 106.00
  • Height-B(mm) 35.00
  • Width-C(mm) 31.00

a quality battery

Aug 07, 2018

These batteries are of a solid construction, run cool when in use and when charging. The high output rate makes it very suitable for aircraft and multicopters where a high out put may be needed.

Does what it says on the packet.

Cool running, much higher instantaneous output and so far seem to be less liable to puffing up, one of my best purchases even though they are more expensive than standard lipos.

First series were bad, new series are all good

Nov 22, 2017

had the bad luck to have a few graphene lipos with faulty cells from the first series. Even after 30 days hobbyking refunded me right away.
Of course the confidence into the graphene were lost, but for the fair price and power they have, I had to buy them again and since i have been promised that they are good now, I reordered 6 Lipos and I do not regret it.
they have power until the end, I like them

Akku leider Schrott

Oct 28, 2016

......
Too bad I did not notice it within the 30 days warranty period. But the battery can not be charged with a charger, because the cell voltage is too low. >> a cell definitely defective. Will no further checks be carried out in this price class? I am more than disappointed by this battery, then rather three cheap batteries, there will probably be one who works!

Die Akkus sind super. Die Leistung hält bis zum ende. Fliege sie in einer Parkzo.. Mustang und habe mit 2200mAh über 8min flugzeit und der Akku ist am ende nicht einmal warm.

Serious ?! they go all the way with the fancy box and bag (that are thrown out right away) but they can not get the BASICS right?!

The wires are to SHORT!! so all this fancy "color coordinated" nonsense is totally useless if I CAN NOT PLUG THE DAM THING IN!!!!
So to use this battery i have to change the esc wires of all the models i hope to use this battery in.

Was it so difficult to make the wires just a few cm longer like they are on the zippy packs?

Be warned if you decide to get this pack...

Great batteries!

Great packaging. Each battery comes in a box with a magnetic latch with foam inside, additionaly the battery itself is packed in a black velvet bag. Quite similar to the Tiger CFK prop bags. I find this quite useful on the flying field: Batteries in their bags are full, batteries outside their bags are empty.

I'm using these batteries in the Durafly Tundra, which seems to be a great match. Voltage is stable for a long time during flight, but it seems that the voltage is dropping a bit faster to the end. So be careful, because when the cut-off protection kicks in, the battery is definitely empty.

Discharged two of them completely till cut-off during flight, and put in exactly the 2200mAh with the charger.
Internal resistance is very low, about 2 milliohm per cell. Therefore the batteries get considerably less warm during discharge, compared to other lipos.

So all in all, really great packs.
The nice magnetic box is maybe a bit too much. Have them laying around now, and I ordered even more graphene packs.
Probably it would be possible to get the packs a bit cheaper by reducing the fancy packaging, but you know what? That makes the lipos even more special! ;-)

Vandaag mijn Turnigy Graphene accu's mogen ontvangen.

I have been using these for 2 weeks in my T-28. They have the same power and time in the air as my other lipoly batteries. I am using the 65c version but they seem to perform the same as my other 65c batteries. Maybe they will last longer in the number of times you can charge them.
