TURNIGY, the name synonymous with performance, reliability and innovation is excited to release a powerful new battery chemistry in the Turnigy Graphene!

What does this really mean for you? Well not only do Graphene batteries go harder for longer but they're unlike anything you have seen or used before.

Turnigy Graphene packs utilize carbon in the battery structure to form a single layer of graphene just 0.335nm thick, making that type of battery substrate the thinnest known to mankind. The graphene particles form a highly dense compound allowing electrons to flow with less resistance compared to traditional Lipoly battery technologies.

The result is a battery capable of maintaining greater power output whilst remaining much cooler under load.  Since heat and resistance are the natural enemy of batteries Graphene chemistry has significantly reduced these problems and the result is an incredible boost in cycle life.

Turnigy Graphene batteries are the new standard for serious hobbyists who require POWER ON DEMAND.

Specs:
Capacity: 2200mAh
Voltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 295g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 106x35x41mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT-60

Note: Graphene LiPo Batteries only require a standard Lipo battery charger.

Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries.
• Power density: 0.15-0.17kw/kg (5Ah-16Ah)
• Power density: 0.13-0.15kw/kg (1Ah-4.9Ah).
• Stable High pack voltage through duration of use.
• High discharge rate, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, packs stay much cooler under extreme conditions
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge.
• Maintains higher pack capacity even after hundreds of cycles
• Fast charge capable, up to 10C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life 600+

  • Capacity (mAh) 2200.00
  • Discharge(c) 65.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 10.00
  • Length-A(mm) 106.00
  • Height-B(mm) 35.00
  • Width-C(mm) 41.00

Thrustworthy

Packaging is very classy, beautiful box and a velvety pouch.
I bought two Graphenes, both 2200 mAh 65C four cells and they have the lowest internal resistance (IR) that I have ever tested! They came charged to 50% and almost perfectly balanced, biggest difference was 0.003 V.
After a flight down to 20% capacity, they were hardly even warm, almost zero temperature increase.
Initial impression is very positive but how they perform over time and longevity will be the key as they are expensive and need to be able to deliver more than 2-3 times the number of charge/discharge cycles to me a good investment. A little research on rcgroups revealed a hopefully long life.

Super Leistung für 250er RaceQuad. Sind mit konstannt gleicher Zellenspannung angekommen. Bisher bin ich zufrieden mit den Akkus. Mal sehen wie sie sich nach 50 Ladungen machen.

Turnigy Graphene 2200mAh 4S 65C Lipo Pack w/XT60

Nov 06, 2016

after having flown several months with these batteries. they have become extremely bad with an internal resistance of 15ohm for each cell.
I have three of these batteries and they all have the same problem, that they are now empty very quickly and very hot. and that after four minutes of flight time with a race FPV drone. Max 4x20a esc.

This is my first Graphine and is going in to my new Duralfy Excalibur. It just squeezes in. Ran some bench tests in the Excalibur against my older Nanotech 4s 2200 35-70 and Zippy Compact 4s 2200 35. The Graphine blew the others away. Yes it is new and they are not.... But - peak power from the Graphine was 741w @ 49.2amps v Nanotech 651.9w @ 44.9amps v Zippy 541.4w @40.2amp. The packaging the Graphine comes in is unbelievably nice, but I would be happier paying $5 less and get it in bubble wrap. I'll be buying more for sure.

Came in a stilish box, 287g 10AWG cable. Voltage: 3,83V 3,83V 3,84V 3,85V. I'm expecting better quality than nanotech and A-spec series.

Lipo batteries have enough power for my race quad. they are a bit larger than the other 2200mah lipo and heavier (275gram), but it is worth it. the only minus point is that the lipo balance cable which is short.(to connect a lipo buzzer) The internal resistance is 2 times after charging is still the same, around 2mo for each cell separately further, it seems that you paid too much for the package, there is a protective bag around the battery. and come in a package with a magnetic closure, foam and cut out in the package, a phone of 700 euros is not packed even that good. but otherwise so far a good battery.
