going to see if this or the clear blue edf30 case is a better fit for the tiny 1220/1230 inrunners.

Genuine GWS 30mm EDF housing. Fits a 10mm inrunner motor.

Can be modified to accept 12mm though this involves removing the housing and either making a new 12mm housing (pen-knife blade replacement tubes are perfect size) or gluing the stators directly to the motor.

Can also be made lighter be removing the intake lip (for models with embedded EDF units) and/or shortening the exhaust and making your own lighter thrust tube.

The finish is good and it fits the turnigy 1015 perfectly. Only when I mounted my impeller I noticed that it was not very even. The impeller started grazing one side. I had to sand that area and remove some plastic with a blade. The setup worked after that but the finishing and gloss is all gone

Goes great with a Turnigy 1015 motor fitted running on two cells. about 55 -60g thrust. motor gets hot but survives (so far).

ignore the last review about using CA to glue the motor in.. The mounting holes line up perfectly so you can just use two M1.6 x 1.8mm long screws to mount it.

I used this with the GWS EDF30 Impeller and the Turnigy 1015 11000kv inrunner. The impeller connects to the shaft of the motor by friction. On 1s it is able to retain however on 2s it flies off and hence you may need CA to secure it. Furthermore on 2s with the motor aforementioned you can cut half the blades off to reduce the load and heating. Cheers.

Use the Turnigy 1015 Brushless Inrunner Motor 11500kv for this.
