Having a nightmare with this plastic foamboard... as soon as I tested the hinges on any of the control surfaces... they broke off! The cutting is far too deep. Try to get tape to work is also difficult as the paint lifts off, so the tape won't stick properly. I love balsa!

I like this plane a lot! Easy build very nice quality foam(very hard to break, strong and also flexible), I had a few cheap foam planes and this is the best foam material I saw. Much fun with this motor overpowered and great speed Turnigy D2826-6 2200kv and 7x5 propeller (tip of props must be cut very little to not touch the servos wires and others) I tried 6x5 props you cannot compare them 7x5 even with tips cut give much more power, I even flew with 5000 mah and vertical climbing no problem 15 minutes of flying aggressive. Sadly I glued the wings with the backside up carefully with that you can easy mistake because is only the color different others looks same is not really affecting the flight...the manual photos instructions are so small you cannot really understand if you dont look very very carefully. I also built some little foam wheels and attached them on belly as landing gear, or you can just add some tape or some extra material on the belly because when landing it will scratch or get dirty. If its overpowered is nice a thin layer of epoxy on the belly for better landing protection. Have fun! I do for sure!

Nightmare attaching carbon fibre to leading edges/booms, ended up using Uhu por as a contact adhesive then cyano'd the tight bends and finished off with blenderm wrapped around the straight runs, used HK foam adhesive for the rest of model. Powered mine with 'Racerstar' 1800kv motor turning a Eflite Convergence tail rotor prop through a 20A esc on 2200 mAh Lipo which is giving me 8+ minutes of great performance including inside and outside loops, inverted, knife edge, inverted and stall turns, it taxi's better than most of my tail dragger models! I love this model, cant remember when I had so much fun for £25!
