Improving on the popular Bixler 2, this latest model is the perfect trainer plane or inexpensive FPV platform. Attach your flight camera into the nose or canopy of the plane to enjoy First Person View while flying. The Bixler 3 PNF Plane is a plug-and-fly model requiring a radio system and battery.
Featuring a new colour scheme, the dynamic contrast and underside stripes make orientation easier. The motor has been updated to a 2620-1400KV Brushless Outrunner for more efficient flight times. Pair the Bixler 3 with a 2200mAh 3S 20C lipoly battery, as well as a 4GHz 6CH transmitter and receiver for optimum flying.
Small enough to fit in your car, the low wing loading and a sleek fuselage creates a practical model that is easy to transport to your favourite flying field. The Bixler 3 comes with optional flaps which are pre-hinged (servos not included). These flaps are particularly ideal for FPV pilots carrying a heavier payload.
Made of super-tough EPO foam, the Bixler 3 has an angular tapered wing and tail surfaces. Pusher props and pre-installed electronics make this a great RC plane for beginners. Perfect for flying at the beach or local park, the Bixler 3 features optional clip-in landing gear as well as clip-in wings for quick assembly and easy storage.

I bought this as my first wing. It's really easy to fly. Really good for fpv as well!Bought the Bixler 3 as my first plane. Flies great out of the box, however, the tail servo was DOA. Got a refund for the servo, replaced it with a metal gear servo since the tail wheel is directly connected to it, so sloppy landings don't kill the servo immediately.
With added flaps a real joy to fly, very responsive and agile. I usually fly without landing gear and use a 4s 2450Mah battery. Flies very nice and easily 20min.No need for a notice Bix 3. The center of gravity is 80 mm of the leading edge of wing. And she flies super........Caution if you fly WITHOUT landing gear, you must push forward the battery in order to respect this CG.........Still putting mine together. It arrived in excellent condition, well packed with no damage. No instructions were in the box but they are available to download here. It is pretty straightforward to assemble but the instructions are good to check the CoG. Looking forward to flying it!This is my FPV aircraft, very good solid platform. Flew so high I lost it, but real world search and rescue mission in my full size plane found it the next day. Watch the entire series of events unfold in this video: https://youtu.be/bmZA-qh02NkJust got it. My first bigger plane. I have 750mm span trainer planes (toys), but wanted a "real" plane to grow with. Impressed by feel, fit and finish of parts on this plane - true hobby plane. Put it together on the floor w/o gluing just to see how it looks. It's huge and awesome, specially with these new decals. Tail parts fits perfectly together. Wing halves merge great. Tip: file off ends of the alu rod for easier insert into wing tubes - perfect fit. Servo extension leads (buy separate) are good to have too. I also bought flap servos, since all is there on the plane, nice to practice that too. Manual is not there but it's not needed or it can be found on internet/youtube. Glue is not included but you can use any good glue you have at home or hot glue I think. Nicely packaged. Everything else is there. Waiting for season to do final assembly and fly it. GREAT BUY, happy with it so far!No manuals were included with the planes!Manual missing in the box and no manual listed on the HK web site. A wide search on the internet did not turn up a manual.Looks alright for the pricetag. And because free delivery in December...I could not resist to buy this plane. All fitted well but no manual to download to check up on settings and some refferance....after asking HK for manual they had sent a link but nothing in it ??
So hopefully the manual will be available in the info soon.
A had and have a lot of fun with the Bix 1 which I have crashed more than 20 times but with the migthy hot glue gun it came back a live !
Anyway....see how we go !
