Product Description

The H-King range of Glue-N-Go foamboard kits makes for flying fun with a huge range of different planes (and other flying objects). They are easy to assemble, easy to fly and exceptional value! Unlike cheap paperbacked foamboard, our foamboard has no paper, is not brittle and impervious to water.

This is a very colorful and easy to see version of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II (or JST). It comes in a fictitious Royal Canadian Air Force Tiger Meet colors. This plane is quick and very eye catching.

The F-35 is made from colorful foamboard and it has been laser cut for precision assembly and is supplied with carbon fiber reinforcing, metal push rods and a plastic motor mount. All it requires is a 2208 to 2216 (2000 to 1600KV) brushless motor, 20-40A ESC, 6” propeller, 9g servos and 1300 to 2200mAh 3S lipo battery. This is a great scale looking plane.

Great Plan - Wish it would come bac in stock

Glad I bought two of these when the first came out. I fly with a 1300 3s batter about two inches forward of the original batter strap location. Is very light, and can turn around or flip over in it own length. Only issued I've had is throwing the battery out on sharp maneuvers. Better battery strap and velcro solved that problem.

In spite of some approximative cuts making the assembly not as precise as in the video, using hot glue gun solved the problems (lot of space remaining after assembly, necessity to bend the sides quite hard, etc...). But in the end, this little Foamboard is such a great pleasure to fly, with a very large envelope ranging from very slow to quite fast for such a board!! After some test, finally very happy with a Turnigy D2826-6 @2200kv, a somewhat shortened 7x4 (the full 7 doesn't fit in the opening!), a 30A ESC and 3S 1800 or 2300... The 2300 makes it so much more versatile than the 1800.
I love this ironing board :))

A blast to fly!

This plane is a blast to fly! It can go really fast or you can slow it down and stand it on it's tail, then take off fast again. I will buy another to make sure I have a backup.
Mine was built with a 2212-6 2200kv motor, 30a ESC, and 6x4 prop. I did have to cut the motor mount area a little deeper into the fuselage so the propeller was centered in the opening.
As others have mentioned, plan to reinforce the elevon hinges, I used tape on the top and a thin coating of hot glue in the hinge. And the CG spot is in the middle of the small tapered area in front of the wing. Mine balances with a 4s 1000mah battery placed just in front of the bottom panel, velcro'd to the center fuselage upright.
A lot of fun for such a low price.

No manual or build video

As one of the videos stated you DO NOT get the manual for the build. Sure you can download it and print it but that's not the same as a factory manual for the build. There are no build videos that I can find on the f35 and never doing this type of kit it would be nice to have something to look at. Oh well, I think I will just leave it boxed and throw it on the shelf.
