Not very happy with the boat can’t change battery without taking the motor out it’s my 10 minut boat then take it home and recharge.my boat runs nose heavy can’t move the battery trays back can’t get to the screws up front i am running the batterys recommend the boat nose stears it self I bought a battery friendly boat I can run for hours.aquaholic is a well made boat could use a little more room in side.

I am very pleased with the RTR H-King's Auquaholic, save for one gripe. The cooling hose was too short from the outboard pickup to the internal cooling circuit. This forced me to source an after-market silicon hose to address this quality defect. Other than that point, the overall fit and finish of this boat is exceptional at this price point. Runs like a champ and it much easier to control in choppier waters than the twin hull Scott Relentless V2, that I also own. Recommend.

She's a beast

This is a great wee boat and it looks mint. I looked around for some time to find a boat at the right price with the right power, and I made a good choice.
The only downside is that there is no self righting. I took a dip in the loch on my second outing, amd been a bit more careful since, but that would be a good addition. Other than that its great.
Really quick, the steering is sharp once its planing, I had to dial down the sensitivity a bit. So she can be twitchy at first until you get the knack.
She handles nicely though, and rides the waves well, lands the jumps neatly too. I had a good 15 mins play time on 2 x 5000mah 60c 2s batteries.
Overall shes a beast!

Great for all of the 5 minutes that it lasts (Turnigy 5000mAh 2S 40C Lipo Pack w/XT-90), the battery compartments either side are so tight you can't get the batterys in and our without taking stuff off and removing the motor cooling hoses, so when i go out with it i get 5-6 minutes then i go home, i should of bought the bigger red inception one as from pics you can see its easy to get the batterys in and out of that one, the boat is tidy quality and goes well altough slow to pick up untill on the plane of the hull, if i could have more fun for longer with it i'd of given it 5 stars, but i will buy the big red one and sell this one most probs

Really good starter boat

This was my second hobby grade RC boat, but first Hobby King brand for me. The boat is good, very good in fact, but not great. They squeezed good value in the price, but there are some downsides. The hull plastic is very thin plastic. It looks great, but it is easy to crack. I had cracked the inner lip in the opening by hand as I was trying to insert/remove the batteries. Second low point is the batteries are nearly impossible to remove once places inside. I suggest you remove the plastic battery trays (difficult to unscrew) but possible. Place a velcro tape in place of the trays and place your batteries directly on the bottom. It is way easier this way to remove them, and you can adjust them front to back and experiment with weight distribution. Next, the 3-blade propeller is just not good for this boat, as another reviewer had noticed. First thing, remove it and replace it with a 40mm 2-blade prop of your choice and experiment in the handling of the boat. With the 3-blade prop the boat had significant prop-walk, and could not go in a straight line (after adjusting rudder, etc) it would go to the right. I changed the prop with a 40mm 1.9 pitch and the boat is a dream now. It goes on plane almost instantly. So here you have it - very good value, but some upgrades and tweaks make it better. I also noticed the hatch gasket allows water in every time - sometimes quite a bit. Use tape if yours does that. I recommend the boat - just be ready for some tweaking, which is part of the "hobby" anyway.

The original propeller doesn't seem to suit this hull very well. Put a Graupner K40 2 bladed propeller on it and it's a rocket. Best RTR boat I know so far :-)

The boat is well build. The batteries are VERY hard to get in so I would plan on leaving them in the boat and get some bms extensions to help in charging. It is Fast enough to make me smile every time is speeds by. Its very stable at high speeds but you defiantly want calm water. the hatch seals very well and keeps the water out. I did have a hard crash in rough water and the cover came off. The coolant line came in with a kink in it. I zip tied a piece on the back side of the hose to help keep it straight. The water pick up tube by the prop was to long and at high speed it wasn't working so i shortened it almost all the way up and it works now. Over all this boat is a LOT of fun.
