Great BRANDED filament

Apr 30, 2019

As far as i know this is proper MCCP (formerly Dutch filaments) filament!
Also mine was never getting wet and it was packed with dessicant in a (thinnish) vacuum bag, then in a box, then in another vacuum bag

Not as bright green as look like in images

Nov 14, 2018

Very good quality PETG and no troubles at all when printing. I needed Z endstop support for my printer, so without leveling, without calibration cubes or any kind of tinkering I fired on support structure printing with this filament. Came out on first print already in ok quality with 225C temperature. Now when I get my z endstop attached and can tinker a bit with this filament, I believe this will output awesome results with very little of tune-up.
Only negative thing I found out from this filament is, that it is not as bright green as it looks like in the image. This filament green is more like wet grass -green.
Settings I used were following:
225C nozzle, 70C bed (with glass)
50mm/s default speed
6.5mm retract with 60mm/s retract speed (my printer have 750mm bowden tube which is why this is high for me)
100% fan speed after first layer

Pretty, but problematic

Jul 05, 2018

I had to print this at 230-250degC.
210degC - extruder skips
230degC - about right
240degC - required with volcano (print speeds >20mm^3/s)
>245degC - the filament microbubbles and becomes less transparent
Problems:
- comes sealed in two layers of thin plastic (not vacuum packed). BOTH had holes at the seam.
- outer layers of filament were a little wet
- filament cross section was NOT circular (measured 1.70 x 1.82mm oval shaped cross-section, start & end of spool)
