    You’ll slice through the sky with this brilliantly colored SkySword that now comes built for 6S batteries for even more power. The streamlined looks and elegant lines show that this plane is built for speed. It comes with a 70-millimeter 12-blade EDF fan to provide that realistic jet sound.


    With the plug and fly (PNF) version, all the work is done with the powerplant already fitted and ready to go. The tricycle retracting landing gear and all servos are completely installed with easy connect plugs when installing the wings. All the decals have been pre-applied at the factory. Just fit the top of the “T” tail and install a receiver and battery and you will be ready to fly in no time.


    The three bright LED lights make for easy orientation when coming in for a smooth landing. There are working flaps to help with takeoffs and landings at the right speed. Extra air inlets for the battery hatch keeps the battery temperature down for maximizing flying time. The nose comes off for easier and safer transportation.


    The SkySword is a fantastic flyer with extreme performance and excellent agility to provide a graceful display in the air.

    If only the paint wasn't so bad.

    I love the way this plane. I love the way it looks, the way it flies, the way it goes together and the fact that it comes with everything you need to get in the air, except for the radio; However, it must have the worst quality paint I've ever seen. As soon as you touch the thing, the paint begins to peel off. I've tried Beacon's Hobby Zone durable coating to try and seal and protect the paint, but it's so bad that the paint just peeled off and took the Hobby Zone with it. Such a shame. That being said, I still love this plane. As a matter of fact, I bought 2 of them so far. If you can deal with the paint issue, or if you're skilled enough to repaint this bird, you won't be disappointed. I haven't fix the paint issue and I'm still verry happy... Enjoy.

    When this jet went on sale, I could not resist. To me, the only drawback is it uses a 6 cell battery, of which I had none, and the XT90 connector meant I either had to buy a battery with that connector, or get some adapters, or actually solder. I bought the battery and the adapters.
    The plane comes out of the box and the assembly is straightforward. Pushrods must be installed on every control surface, so you have to have a tx and rx to hook up for servo centering. That procedure went well, and I had a fully assembled ready to fly model. BUT, for personal reasons I have yet to fly it. And THIS is very good feature: 4 bolts and 2 screws hold the entire airframe together, and it can be disassembled and it fits perfectly back into its box making storage and protection from "hangar rash" a little easier. I like it!
