Great frame for the price! It has a similar layout to the QAV250, but the distance between the top and base plates is only 1 inch, so it's a little harder to fit everything in there. But it's manageable. It doesn't have a power distribution board, so you'll have to do that yourself. This might be tricky to get right if you don't have a good soldering iron or much experience with soldering. Mine held up to several hard landings and one large crash with only minor damage. I eventually ran it into a tree and broke one of the arms. My advice is to order one and try it out. If you like it, order a second for spare parts. Overall, it's a great first quad to learn on and to figure out how you want to arrange things before you move on to a more expensive frame.

Dont buy this frame, the pillars are so short you can't use a normal board camera. But the real issue is you cant get spare parts for it. I broke an arm, which happens on 250 racers, and there are no spare parts, so the frame is useless now.

very good.
but I had to do some adjustments to make it work as a race quad build.
for the baby beast v2 you need to cut out the holes of the frame a little to fit them.
also you should remember to put thread locker on all the screws, otherwise the whole frame falls apart the first flight you take!!
if you remember these steps you will definitely have fun with this frame and you new quad build!

(ah and the KK mini doesnt fit in these mounting holes. I just used hot glue to stick it on the frame and it works well!)

My first drone; built frame easily, plenty of room for stuff, not too heavy, seems strong enough. Maiden today went well, didnt break anything but a chipped prop. 5 inch props only, there is about 3mm clearance on the front. No spare parts is a bummer, i wont make that mistake again.

is a cheap mount, i hate the FC mount xD the holes are not standar so you have to use the red things to attach it and is a pain, the arms are strong and durable i only would like that the kit come with some spare parts like more screws cause i lost some in flight and was using loctite D:!

Got this frame for my first 250 racing quad build, and overall I'm quite pleased with it so far - although it hasn't left the ground yet. Pros - All parts are well made, nice clean cuts, nothing dodgy looking. The arms are really strong, they will take a lot of beating. Lots of space to mount everything. Cons - No instructions at all as to how it all fits together, with a bit of thinking and close examination of the pictures above I figured it out, but a diagram (even online) would be nice. The holes for mounting the FC are 33.5mm, not the 30.5mm which seems to be standard - at least on my Naze32. I'm going with velcro as a mount instead. The FPV camera mount won't take my Fatshark 600TVL, will need another option for that. Overall, seems like a good platform, yes it's a copy of the EMax Nighthawk 250, but so what. It would be nice if there was an option to change the lower plate for a PDB, but that would just be icing on the cake really. Spares? Probably won't be any, but just buy a new one and use it as a donor as it's cheap enough.

Pros: Assembles very quickly. Looks and feels like a solid frame to get started with as lightweight FPV racer. Good mounting options. The quality of the frame is great for the low price. Frame is cheap enough to just buy an extra frame to have for parts.

Cons: Tiny silicone bobbins for mounting the FC are probably never going to be used and I would feel a bit better if this used M3 hardware and the short screws were a bit longer.

Really looking forward to getting this together!

This thing is a night mare so far.
1. Hols to mount the FC are not setup for Naze or KK. You must use the orange rubber things. Problem is it is impossible to get them through the holes without tearing the rubber.

2. The motor mounts can not take M3 screws, must drill out the slots.

3. No spare parts out yet.
