Well, the next generation of long body, low profile action camera is here. The Firefly Q6 is a full 4K camera with the long sleek body that is more aerodynamic than the usual GoPro-style cameras making it ideal for planes, gliders, helmets or other applications where you want a more streamlined camera.
It comes with all the features expected of a 4K camera such as 12MP Sony CMOS sensor, 120 degree F2.8 lens, 4K@24fps to 720p@120fps video, image stabilization, time-lapse and WDR. Hawkeye has taken the guess work out of setting up your Firefly Q6 camera by providing a small OLED display for menu setup as well as showing the camera status at other times.
If you are looking to use as a dash cam then the camera can be set to continuous record and it will do five-minute recording blocks wiping the oldest file when the memory card is full.
It’s time to get out and shoot all those exciting times of your life.

Very good picture quality..and video...only one problem.. why make a action camera with no mount or fixings not goodThe camera has really great features , time lapse, Gyro stabilization, and an overall great quality in built but there are two main issue , the first is that I read about the battery has a short life, since a usb charge interface is provided I do not care much , the second is about the colors, when cloudy , they are totally wrong , activating the WDR filter improve a little but the rela problem is that a White balance menu i s missing.
See the picture in file secition compare to one taken with Xiamo Yi .
A real pity since it is a great camera and the Oled display helps a lot to set the camera. The video quality is fantastic, although after a fairly easy landing the small LCD screen cracked. I was able to use the camera as I remembered the settings by heart. After a harder landing the whole case cracked open and now it is a $60 pile of electronics. To be honest, I found this camera very easy to use, and the 4K video was totally non jumpy. Bummer it was so fragile.Excellent video quality, wide angle lens and the OLED screen is a perfect addition, allowing you to change any setting in seconds. Colour balance is great, and adjustment from dark to light is lightning fast.
you can see a sample video shot in 1080p60 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JKAyb4PXy0Well, It the looks of this adorable and compact camera, with buttons and even an small OLED, made me buy this one instead of Mobius, but since mine came DOA, which made me kinda disappointed, but if it worked, I feel like I would had a great time with it I guess!Bought this to replace my rumcam2 as the main board needed replaced and didn't want to buy another one. Find the on screen display to change settings easier and faster than the wifi set up on runcam2. Picture quality is excellent and the gyro actually works well.
I have owned about a dozen HD cameras over the years, including GoPro, Mobius, and several cheap no-name imports. I have to say, this camera far exceeded my expectations, and performs like something at twice the price point. It is an enormous upgrade from FPV cameras like mobius, as it has a very user friendly interface with a crisp OLED screen. Menu functions are similar to GoPro, with an incredible amount of user definable settings. Size and weight are very similar to mobius as well. It has a really nice video loop function which would make this an excellent dash cam when not being used for RC. The gyro stabilization feature is functional, but resolution and frame rate both take a pretty big hit. Overall I would have no hesitation recommending this camera to anyone! I paid full price for the camera, and have no incentive to review this other than the fact that I really feel that it is an excellent product!Very Impressed! Very High Quality Picture!
