The reason for 2 stars is because it looks great. However, the motor basically does not run. Even if it turns, it is very rough and will not turn if you put a 8x3.5 SF prop. Hobbyking asked me to send both photo and video to show the problem and I did, but still have not heard final decision.

Very good and cheap motor! Well machined.
This one is a POWERHD Motor ! Exactly the same color and specs!
I use it on my progress (188gr.) on indoor sessions with a 8045SFprop on 2S450mAh lipo. It has more than enough power. Maybe a 6Aplush is enough for the progress if you really want to save a few grams...

WARNING!!!! The built in prop saver is too small to fit standard props. I had to create an adaptor to fit my prop!



Just finished my maiden flight on scratch built 32 inch F3P scratch build. AUW is 116 grams.

This motor performed great. Even though I had to create an adaptor. The motor sat on the scale with bullet plugs installed at 22.5 grams. Pacing it on my plane was nice and easy, and it spun up nice and smooth. I used the suggested 8x4 prop and there is plenty of power to hover my 116 gram plane. After flying the motor was cool to the touch.



I am happy with the performance of the motor. I only wish the prop saver was a standard prop size, or included an adaptor to fit a standard size. By standard, I mean the standard orange colored ones you can get just about anywhere that have a 3 letter name.
