too cool. bouht in the 4h sale for just 14,99$. this servos are awesome! yesterday mounted on swashplate from MSH Protos. its needed to modifie the holes from 4mm to 4,5mm with a reamer, then good fitting, no play and verry strong composite arms included. good look&feel. each servo in an exclusive box with all additionals like arms, screws and so on.

Very good servo, except one thing: The gears have too much slop. More slop than HGD 250 and HGD 260.

(review cont) With this said, I expect a servo sold as one rated for "helicopter use" to have a deadband no greater than 2uS, preferably 1uS or less. Cost has no bearing on this specification, it's a parameter set at the factory or via a programmer usually available to the consumer. (Hyperion and Hitec digital servos are easily adjusted this way) I should rate these servos 3 or less but the overall high quality deserved a 4-stars rating.

(review cont) Since the servo motion is split between two functions, the servo travel is halved for each function. This cuts effective servo resolution in half. If the deadband is taken into consideration here, using half servo travel for, say, collective, means the effective deadband is doubled, to 10-12uS. That's a bunch of 'electronic free-play' introduced into the control system and you WILL feel the lack of control precision. More to follow.

(review cont.) I will say the gear train is decent, servo amp responds cleanly and gear backlash is acceptable but I do have one major complaint: The deadband on all ten servos was 5-6uS, 5X greater than acceptable for a modern, "heli-rated", digital servo. All of today's heli's in the size range intended for this type servo uses eCCPM for swash and rotorhead control. This means the servos do double functions (cyclic and collective) each. (more)

I've been hearing good things about Ino-Lab servos for the last two-or-so years but never was motivated to buy any until I saw the super sale offered a couple weeks ago. The specs sounded perfect for outfitting some '500' class e-heli's waiting for assembly. Purchased 10, cheap considering the price. Received them a couple days ago and gave each servo a preliminary break-in test and to see how smooth and consistent they ran. More to follow...

Have bought 3 pcs. according to Reviews they seemed to be very good servo's. As soon as I got them, 1 pc was dead on arrival?? If INO-lab servo's are that good, why don't they test the servo's before they ship them?

I will send back 1 servo for replacement. Down goos the bargain.
