Update to my previous review: The lack of right rudder (nose-right tail rotor authority) that I was experiencing was not due to lack of tail rotor pitch but lack of tail servo torque. When spinning, the centrifugal force acting on the tail rotor blade grip pitch links forces the tail rotor to zero pitch. The higher the revs, the higher the tendency for the tail rotor blades to center at zero pitch. Above a certain head speed, the servo I was using simply ran out of torque to overcome this centering force, and that was causing the lack of nose-right tail rotor authority. I solved this problem by using an original Align tail rotor pitch control arm off of my Trex 600 ESP (it fits the 500 beautifully). This Align arm is longer on the side that connects to the servo pushrod, giving the tail servo higher mechanical advantage. So, either get a very strong tail servo or change the pitch control arm (google Align part number H60186A). Also, iinstalling the ball link on the innermost hole on the tail servo arm will help the servo deliver more torque to the pitch control arm. The servo I used for the tail is an HKS-9257 running on 5.5 volts. After tinkering with this heli a bit to solve a bunch of minor issues, I am now very happy with it. Thanks HobbyKing!I own an Align T-Rex 600 ESP and decided to build myself a HK 500 CMT TT with fairly cheap electronics, just to see how good or how bad of a heli this would get me. Turns out, I got quite a nice heli out of it. But this product does have some kinks that need to be ironed out by the builder: 1- The canopy needs to be reinforced where it connects to the bottom front of the frame (used toilet paper and CA glue for this, simple fix). 2- Gears on the front torque tube transmission were binding rather severely (after about 5 or 6 flights they wore themselves in and worked smoothly from then on). 3- Main blades and tail blades work, but they cause a fair amount of vibration (It flew fine on the original blades but Align main and tail blades improved the flying qualities and smoothness quite a bit). 4- Don't use very high head speeds or you will overstress the tail rotor, resulting in failure of the tail blade grip bolts and explosion of the tail rotor (there are several reports of this occurrence in other reviews; here CF Align blades help, as they are much lighter than the stock tail blades). 5- Torque tube must be rolled over a flat glass table and straightened-out by hand (also a simple fix). 6- Make sure to use every bit of tail pitch available, as you run out of right rudder on this heli fairly easily when using low rotor head speeds and pumping collective (not a problem when using normal head speeds, just don't go crazy high on the revs). Electronics used: Turnigy H3126 1600 KV motor and 13-tooth pinion, YEP-60A ESC, HK-752MG cyclic servos, HKS-9257 tail servo, Mini K-Bar flybarless controller, RJX flybarless head, Orange R-620x receiver. The original flybarred rotorhead is surprisingly smooth and well built, but I never did use it. Overall, I like this heli and think it is a great product if you are willing to do some tinkering to correct a few simple bugs and issues. And I love the clear windshield on the canopy. Donc ce modèle est toujours dans son carton, et s'il n'est pas possible d'avoir ces documents, il finira à la poubelle car je ne prendrais pas le risque de faire voler cet engin de manière hasardeuse et / ou périlleuse.
Bien entendu, je ne manquerais pas de faire une publicité négative auprès de mes collègues, et il ne sera plus jamais question de commander chez Hobby KIng.

Danielgreat helicopter, super stable, great price and other than the canopy it is a beautiful helicopter.The Frames are different to the original T-Rex 500. The Battery tray is located higher than the original and the 3000mAh Turnigy Packs won't fit below the canopy.
Some Screws are different to the original Align, where Plastic screws were needed in this Heli are metric screws used.
There is no velcro, manual delivered and the Frames have very sharp edges.
I have only used the Maingear and the Tail to make my T-Rex looking like a Heli again. Flight test is still outstanding because the ESC is not back from manufacturer. (Not an HobbyKing-Issue). In summary I would say, that this Heli is not really 100pcnt compatible with Align.I have a Trex 500, but wanted to fly this kit first because of the price difference. Overall nice kit. However, I was missing the main blades from the box. After filing a claim(as a return, since there is no claim for missing parts) I was informed that I had to submit a photo or video of the issue before they would consider it. I asked what they wanted, a pix of the missing part? No response yet. I've placed 22 orders with HK, with no problems with any others. You'd think they would want to keep me as a satisfied customer over a $10 part.For the price very good deal. Torque tube and tail pitch slider had to replaced after 2 flights. Ordered my second one which will be converted to fbl.Snel geleverd via DE warehouse. Heli is erg compleet afgeleverd. Torque tube vervangen, was krom. Tevens linkage ball van swash vervangen, schroefdraad was te kort. Dit resulteerde in een crash toen de nick losschoot. Veel trilling in de heli, kwam door veel te ruimte op de metal main rotor housing. Deze ook vervangen door origineel. Tevens hoofdas vervangen door origineel. Maindrivegear vervangen, van hk was krom. Originele maindrivegear was recht en 6 gram zwaarder. De linkage ball van alle servo hevels vervangen, de originele zijn niet met een moertje geborgd en zitten er naar mijn idee niet echt goed vast. Conclusie: Veel heli voor weinig, bouwen was prettig, over sommige onderdelen is niet goed nagedacht. Toch tevreden.Just resived may heli and hes in perfect conditionSehr schner Heli.
