Great plane. This was my first RC plane when I first got into it, I now own 3 of them. The plane is tough as nails, I have crashed it time and and time again and with a bit of re gluing it will always fly again. Very stable in flight and standard power system is great. I would recommend this plane to ANYONE. Even if you have never flown before. I really can't say enough about this plane even a year on from my first hellcat purchase. My favorite plane to fly, hands down.

Very nice detail to this plane, it is my first warbird. Was maidened last week by a friend and looked very nice indeed. At full throttle it cruised along nicely, straight and level and sounded great. If I had to describe this in one word it would be smooth! Using a 2200mah 3s 30c in the stock compartment, no mods other than removing the landing gear. Balances perfect at 65mm. Although new at this I would rate it as up there with the parkzone gear that I have seen/own. Good Stuff, now we just need HK to stock spares.

Great little plane. Very stable, but a little sensitive to control surfaces. Fast enough, with standard prop, but it breaks easily. Replaced with a APC 9x6. Landing gear Ok, but bends easily with a hard landing. Motor bearings ceased after about 4 flights. Replaced, now all good. Modified cockpit as described in RC groups posts. Much better for battery access. Now loads of room. All in all a fun plane to fly.

Neil. Can u tell me exactly how u set this Hellcat up with weight and CG? I can't get it right. No rudder response...... I guess this is supposed to be a review so I will say that I'm sick of buying planes from HK, like this one that does not make CG easy. I think that if u spend money on a plane, you should be able to plug the recommended batt into the provided batt compartment and not worry about CG. They should consider this when designing the plane..... Parkzone has no problem with this simple concept!!

Hi i recently purchased this plane to add to my collection of warbirds. Took it up for its maiden today and lost controll. I am using a 2200 3s Lipo and have put it up front in the main compartment hatch and added and extra weight to the nose. I thought the CG was fine but i found it out of controll. ANY IDEAS ON OBTAINING THE CORRECT C G AS I THINK THIS IS THE PROBLEM???? Thanks

Good value for money. Landing gears need to re-glued to withstand rough landings. Motor is slightly underpower for short take off and hand launch. Using turnigy nano battery 2200mAh in original batt compartment will get the c.g. spot on.

This is my 3rd ever rc plane and my first warbird.

Being a novice I found it easy to fly even at slow speeds. I've about 2 rough landings and it keeps on rocking.

Two things on the negative if you were a nit picker is that the color scheme makes it hard for orientation and the prop had to be balanced.

beautiful model that I can recomend for intermediate pilots. To avoid tip stalls, use aileron differencial. For a smoth flight also plenty of exponential.

I had to add 30gr. of weight in the nose.

outrunner 2637-1370k/v with 3S3300 mAh Lipo, the rest is included stuff.
