H-King and Michael Wargo have teamed up to bring you and outstanding 3D platform. This model is constructed of ultra-durable EPP foam, making it virtually "unbreakable".
The following is what Michael Wargo says about the plane.
“The Wargo Signature Yak 55 is the realization of my goal to have the perfect 3D and aerobatic training aircraft. I have dedicated a lot of my flying career to teaching 3D aerobatics and helping pilots learn how to become better pilots. I have also dedicated myself to trying to develop the ideal transition and training 3D plane. Finally, we offer you the Wargo Yak 55. It is a perfect combination of value, performance and durability with no compromises in aerobatic precision and the ability to perform every 3D aerobatic maneuver with authority. I wanted an economical and durable practice aircraft that can take a pilot from sport flying to confidently flying 3D aerobatics.
The result is a phenomenal plane that will hover, harrier and tumble incredibly well. Any accomplished 3D pilot will love this plane because it will satisfy the most discriminating pilot. It will perform maneuvers ultralight foamies cannot because it has enough mass to carry momentum and perform more high-energy and tumbling type of maneuvers.
The Yak 55 is also a perfect next step toward getting confident with larger balsa planes. It is designed to perform like a balsa plane with the durability of a foamy. Best of all most mishaps can be repaired in seconds with a bit of glue, and you are ready to fly again.
The Wargo Yak 55 a blast to fly, and because it takes the fear of hitting the ground, it lets you try aerobatics you cannot with your high-end balsa models. I hope you enjoy flying your new plane as much as I enjoy it.”

I put a turnigy 480 1300 kv up front with a 10 5 propeller. 3s 1300 batteries.
Added an oz. of weight to the tail. truly excellent 3D backyard flyer. Will do all maneuvers my large scale planes will do . Gives you wings to try new moves . Best practice plane I ever bought.I did away with the Z-Bend push rods & used MP Jet M2 ball links (to suit 1.6 mm rod), and drilled the control horns to suit the ball links. All up RTF weight came in at 710 grams using a YEP 45A ESC, Hyperion 1400mAh 3S 40C LiPo (XT 60 connector), 4 x KS PDI 0902MG Digitals, Turnigy D3530/14 1100Kv outrunner with a 11 x 3.8 SF prop & a 6 CH receiver.Blast to fly, but pain to build.Blast to fly, but pain to build.Blast to fly, but pain to build.Very well made and super cheap! This thing flies so well! I was able to do stunts well, that I always struggle with and on my first flight, it was fantastic. First flight, first landing and with slight wind I hovered in. I love this thing! Well done guys!Received my Yak pretty quick and came package well.
Took me about 4 hours to put her together, builds quick if you have built a few foamies.
Quality of foam, design and parts fitting are pretty good.
This will make a good first time 3D plane and a good 3D plane in your hanger.
The YAK does all the 3D stunts well. rolling harriers a blast and hovers good! knife edge spins are a blast!!! You cant beat this foamy the price/value and its performance!!!
