This new V2 Telemetry radio set allows you to link to a flight controller such as our HKPilot Mega or Multiwii AIO to a USB or Uart equipped device such as a computer, laptop or tablet supporting a USB connection (OTG). The new V2 radios, no longer have a separate Air/Ground module, as both transceivers can use Uart or USB connections and supports both modes. The Radio set not only lets you see live data, such as live GPS position overlaid on a map, system voltage, heading, waypoint navigation even artificial horizon and so much more. Using open source MAVlink based ground station software, you can even fly your aircraft with a joystick via your computer and update settings live! Or just use it for your DIY projects that needs a wireless Serial interface. This kit offers a great low price, longer range and superior performance. The system utilizes the 915Mhz band and provides a full-duplex link using HopeRF's HM-TRP modules running custom, open source, firmware.

Features:
• Interchangeable air and ground modules
• Micro-USB port
• 6-position DF13 connector

Sep 07, 2018

My second set of 915 mHz and it is working perfectly. Just take it out of the box and plug it in and away you go. Nothing to set up.

915 Telemetry Radios

May 23, 2018

I have had mine for a few months now and performance has been faultless.
No need to buy extra antennas as they come with the correct ones and they are stamped 915 MHz.
Initial setup of your FC requires a USB connection but after that these are all you need and much easier doing a compass calibration using these rather than a USB cable which quickly tangles itself around everything... Range is superb.

Very nice little radios, they do exactly what they're supposed to. I was a bit suspicious of the antennas and so I took one apart, it was for 2.4GHz. It's a functional antenna, but it's really inefficient. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of the 915MHz micro whip antennas HobbyKing sells.

works very well in germany although not legal frequency there. nice case. It's up to you which unit you use as TX or RX. Both have double connectors, USB and Serial.

Very easy to pair up. Either unit can be installed in aircraft on at the ground station. I haven't had any failures or disconnects. I am using these with a HK Pilot 32 flight controller.

Overall, good product and works well, just a few quality issues. The plastic casing comes apart really easily, and on a minor crash, i had it come apart and I had to super glue it back together. Second point, the antenna used completely shattered on such a minor crash that I question the quality of the plastic used. Luckily its a standard antenna plug that you can just pick up another WIFI antenna from a local electronics shop. -1 star for quality issue. But definitely recommend for all APM/HKPilot users.
