What can I say?
It's AWESOME! I came from 1/10 buggy, and for the first time I seen this 1/5 today.
Trust me, you will get really surprised, it's GIANT.
It's FAST, it's very well assembled, it's CHEAP.

Ein perfekter Clone. Qualitt reicht zwar nicht an das Original heran, aber das schlgt sich ja auch im wesentlich niedrigeren Preis nieder.
Ich habe auch die SC-Version gekauft und muss sagen, dass die Qualitt bei diesem Modell besser zu sein scheint. Eine Erklrung habe ich hierfr allerdings nicht.
Wichtig vielleicht fr potentielle Kufer: Die Karosserie war bei mir rot und die Felgen sind bereits die neueren im Proline-Design. Die Servoanlenkung fr die Lenkung war bei mir brigens vorhanden!
Uneingeschrnkte Kaufempfehlung :-)

Alles super!!! Absolut baugleich mit dem HPI. Trotzdem alles nachkontrollieren vor allem Kupplung, Diff.und getriebe. Ansonsten geiles Teil.....Fairer Preis

I red all the "reviews", found all the "issue's", got overwhelmed with all the pro's and con's in compare to the HPI . . . But I took a change and ordered this Rovan Baja (for a third of the "original" Baja price)

And guess what . . . . I'm happy ! It really is a great car. Besides on small issue with a diff-bearing (solved for $10) it's worth the money.

My Rovan Baja will be outfitted with the 30,5cc upgrade, 4-brake set, some essential Aluminium suspension parts and such.

This car is very well made for the price you will pay for. I also disassemble all the gear and differential, gear was well greased but the differential was not, so I clean all parts and start from the scratch in following the HPI manual to build again. It was right that a ball bearing was missing in the gear box and replaced with a scrappy plastic part, just replace it to get a strong gear box. The steering servo is a big one but not more than 60mm long, the gaz is a std one. Steering linkage was supply in the box. So with a little bit time to check all the assembly you will get a nice car at the end. I also recommend that you download the HPI manual in order to get a clear view of the assembly and setup.

Its great clone of Baja, disassembled and everything is on place. All screws are tightened. Only two things was bad, shocks need a little oil, not completely full, diff was half of oil, second half was out.

Baja 260S received by GLS in very good shape.

I have completly disassemble it to check the building quality, and i am glad i have done this !!

First, for the servo, you will need an 1/5th scale size servo for the steering and a standard size servo for the throttle/brake.

First problem encounter, the servo steering linkage isn't supply, so you have to buy it from HPI it cost 12 for one linkage set.

Second problem, when i was checking the gearbox i found that there is one missing 12x24x6 ballbearing in it, you have to buy it separatly for aproximatly 5 !

Third problem, when i saw that bearing missing, i decide to go further and disassemble the diff as well, and surprise, it was completly dry with no oil in it ... so you have to fill it with 1000 silicone oil !

That's for me two big factory problems, because if you don't solve them before the first run, you will break your gearbox and transmission in no time !

Finaly the stock tuned exhaust pipe is garbage, just remove it and replace it with a simple baja 5t stock exhaust if you are concerned with the noise or with any other real tuned pipe like DDM or Victory pipe if you want more power.

Other than that it was well bluit and seem to be a very good baja clone !

The engine is a 26cc ROVAN but it looks like a standard CY/ZENOAH engine.

Dog bones were well greased just like the gearbox.

FANTASTIC CLONE OF THIS POPULAR BUGGY. this one is a rebranded rovan (good qaulity at fraction of the price) had this for 4 weeks not and around 20 tanks of fuel, it always starts and runs fine, i really cant fault it in any way. here is a link to its first outing

Acquistata circa un mese f. Motore molto potente e gi ben settato di fabbrica. Solo tre stelle per la qualit delle plastiche che sono molto fragili (la ruota anteriore destra si spezzata dopo un piccolo urto). Comunque la consiglio per il prezzo e per la compatibilit con i pezzi di ricambio HPI.
