I have not had the chance to use this one yet, but I have used the 60amp version with great success. The only grip I have is if you are programmer it with sticks/transmitter it takes forever as you have to restart the programming after every setting and it always starts at the beginning so you have to go thru all the previous stuff you programmed just to get to the one you want to program. BUT its doableFirst test: plugged in, receiver gone, servo gone (luckily only one was plugged in) measured (too late of course) 25 volts on the output of the bec, one crown because rest of the order was OK.Using with NTM Prop Drive 50=50 580Kv/2000 Watt Outrunner & 5S battery turning a 15x8 prop in home built 81" Top Flight Cessna 182. 21 flight so far no problems. Great motor & ESC.Absolutely fantastic ESC, got two of these, and have had no problems at all!
Would definitely recommend this to anyone! Attendo una soluzione da HK!Bad ESC, it has never worked.
Connected with a NTM 3548 900 Kv and Turnigy 3000A 4S, BEC works but the engine remains off.
I connected another ESC Turnigy 40A and it's ok, the motor works perfectly.
I await a solution from HK!
i use them for motors which need max 80mah burstdidnt run the motor for mt 50-55 sk3, tried my turnigy 60a and motor worked fine , i dont know why it didnt work for me, ran the servos but not the motor , bumming now i need to buy somthin else ? im sticking with turnigy brand, never ever have problem with them ,I didn't relize how big this ESC was until I got it in. I guess I just have to cut out the foam and make room on the jet for this one. Beware of your ESC size. Overall, great for the price advertised. Usage is definetly a plus. Not sure what happened with the first one but hobbyking made it right and it is powering Alloy DPS Series 70mm 10-Blade EDF unit with 2200kv Motor - 1900watt. does not even get really warm. First one went when the motor went and I still had full control and landed with no motor. Very happy. I will buy more.
