I've bought three of them for my custom made carbon fiber 700 tricopter setup and now another three for a identic backup clone.. Esc's are heavier due to alum. chiller but cofigurable for all kinds of motors including low Kv bell motors (there are three timing otions for this purpose).. Bench tested on max 35A with no problem to pulling more than 1200g.. Slightly warm, dual capacitors, fast atmel 328 MCU and programable with jumper card which i prefere over LED one (plug ESC, set jumpers to either positions, plug used old battery, beep twice, done), reversible, programable via Tx and has safe option for avoiding to spin accidentaly full throttle..
My setup: Talon foldable tricopter custom design (long booms) frame, D4023 850kv brushless motors, 30A blue series ESC + program card, MG servo, HK atmel 328 based fly control board (tricopter fw flashed using avr studio and flashing usb board), 5500mAh/25C LiPo, Trcv Turnigy 9x, Rcvr 8ch v2, Gemfan 12x4.5 props cw+ccw, AUW (all weight up) 1200g..i'll be testing these on the Y6 frame, should be niceGot these for $6plus, I used the B.S. ESC's for years and NEVER had a problem.
Dozens in planes. You like ZTW.... guess what, ZTW makes them. I use one of these in a 8000kv motor on low timing. No problem all the way thru the throttle curve!Ive bought one of these so far and Im very happy with how well it works and plan on buying more for my next build! Im running a 2212/6t 2200Kv motor with a 6x4 apc prop and a 3s lipo and the esc doesnt even get warm!Not the best ESC in the world. Ordered 4 and one wasn't programable with the programming card. During programming the ESC burnded out... So now I've ordered 4 Afro ESC's which have already proven to be reliable in my other multicopters.Im running this esc on a ft versa wing with a 2212 6T 2200 kv brushless motor with a 6x4 prop works great doesn't even get warm!Fantastic quality ESC! But I would not recommend for multirotor applications where a CC3D or Naze32 will be used. These have a complex calibration procedure that the GCS software is not fond of. After a third re-calibration something went wrong. When I plugged in the battery the quad went full power! I would like to know what went wrong.Sweet 30A ESC. A little heavy but performs very well on a 3S Setup drawing around 20A.
Brake needs to be programmed and works very good with a Folding prop!
Preis / Leistung top!I tried this series before and can tell you this, its awesome esc just buy the programming card to make easier setupA good and cheap Controller, I use it on my Slow Stick Parkflyer. With the progcard wich you can buy in the shop the programming is a piece of cake.
