Rock solid power supply

Nov 30, 2019

Very easy. Plugged it into the wall and my charger and it works perfectly! Love it. Plenty quiet and been reliable for the last 2 months. Wish it had included the power cord. Had to buy that extra.

Hobbyking's 350W 25A power supply is a very good work horse.
Only issue I have is the power supply does not come with an electrical cord and Hobbyking does not carry the cord. going on the chat line with Hobbyking did result in the information on where to buy a cord. The cost of the cord was reasonable but the shipping was more than the cord adding $10.00 to the complete purchase.
If the cord was included I would rate this as an overall 5 star instead of the 3 for inconvenience and 4 star for added expense

Read the fine print NO POWER CORD WTF?

Apr 22, 2018

Yeah now I read the little asterisk that it doesn't have a power cord, but seriously why wouldn't HK include it or at the very least sell it.... frustrating as hell...

Why does this not have an IEC input connector or come with the funky mickey mouse ac cord (-1 star)? you have to order an AC cord separate elsewhere. Otherwise the unit seems good, but the fan makes a whirl even at low current output (-1 star).

The power cord... there is no power cord. There is mention in here to run to your local computer store and they'll have one ready for you. No... no, not quite the case. So I'm hitting the product hard... 3 star value, because I had to go on a field trip in St Louis to find a power cord. It would be so simple to sell this product with a power cord... so why not just do that.

Be careful
Purchased this from the Australia Warehouse however as Australia is 240v 60hz this unit is incomparable. As unit was unused I attempted to return it however HK refused to allow this.
Warning: Do not assume that because it comes from the Australian Warehouse it can be used in Australia. Make sure that you purchase the 240v version which is Part No 17423 or you will be stuck with an expensive brick like me.
