It is carbon fiber, aluminum booms and pretty strong for a very cheap frame. Number 1 con: it is a very small area to mount FPV gear, etc. I made a very large plastic plate from a 5.5 gallon bucket, dyed it black using RIT dye (get at grocery stores, wal-mart, etc. for dyeing clothes) and it works great. Made it almost the same size as the bottom 2 CF plates. If you are planning to mount FPV gear it will not fit without you modifying it.

Number 2 con: the frame is cheap so it is not going to withstand a hard crash without breaking the carbon fiber plates. But for this low price it is a good deal. Just make sure you can fly without crashing it and you will be all right.

I recived it in one week from china. plates are carbon fiber got all screws and spacers and I also get an extra spacers for distribution board which I like a lot. Only thing is that it doesn`t have much space for all electronics in the middle. Now I have to figure it out where will FPV modul fit. Overall this kit is very good for beginners like me

Just received my hexa and it was a quick mount. It is very nice and it seems strong. The landing crab does not look so strong, which is made of plastic. But overall it is a nice frame.

Great value 650 size hexacopter frame. Better than I expected and I would definitely buy another one. There's a few comments around that folding it requires loosening off bolts and that it's too much trouble. That's not true though. If you use the washers on the outside bolts on the folding arms and don't over tighten them, you can hold the middle arms and give it a firm shove to fold. It will still be plenty firm enough to not move in flight. That might not be as an elegant solution as some folding frames, but hey, look at the price.

not a bad kit, but you do get what you pay for! who ever is in charge of QC should be allotted a full bowl of rice to improve performance. I had a total of 13 screws that were not to any standard 2 didn't even have a socket head. and the instruction manual what a joke!
