Introducing the Hobbyking 650X6 HexaCopter, a fantastic alternative to the high priced folding 600 class HexaCopter.
The HK 650X6 comes with our popular Multi-function Crab gear, providing over 200mm of ground clearance. The Multifunction gear attaches to the HK 650X6 with the standardized 60mm hook and rod mounts using grommet isolators, providing 2 “clean” vibration free mounting plates front and rear for your accessories. The HexaCopter can fold its arms parallel, allowing for easy transportation and storage. The motors are supported by dual composite supports and the center frame has flight controller and GPS tower mounting plates.
The HobbyKing 650X6 HexaCopter is a great choice for aerial photography work or endurance flying. The best feature is the HobbyKing Pricing.

It is carbon fiber, aluminum booms and pretty strong for a very cheap frame. Number 1 con: it is a very small area to mount FPV gear, etc. I made a very large plastic plate from a 5.5 gallon bucket, dyed it black using RIT dye (get at grocery stores, wal-mart, etc. for dyeing clothes) and it works great. Made it almost the same size as the bottom 2 CF plates. If you are planning to mount FPV gear it will not fit without you modifying it.
Number 2 con: the frame is cheap so it is not going to withstand a hard crash without breaking the carbon fiber plates. But for this low price it is a good deal. Just make sure you can fly without crashing it and you will be all right.I recived it in one week from china. plates are carbon fiber got all screws and spacers and I also get an extra spacers for distribution board which I like a lot. Only thing is that it doesn`t have much space for all electronics in the middle. Now I have to figure it out where will FPV modul fit. Overall this kit is very good for beginners like meIts a Great Fream but this Gold stuff is not included you will only get that in Blackthis hex is a first great build kit, goes together easy, everything fits nice,or for the exp flier too,i used 6 multistar elite 1220 920 kv motors,6 afro 30 amp esc 1 with bec 5 opto, and a 5000,30 c 3 cell battery hard case style , 6 carbonfibre 9x4.5 props, and the price is awesome 35.00,its a high quality kit light and strong too and love the wide tall landing gear,it is so simple to build all u need is allen wrench, and socket to fit nuts,i got 20 minutes on 2nd flight with a 5000 battery,my total cost was 226.00 minus the radio,im ordering another one at these prices, ladies,LADIES,pleaseeee. this is an awesome hex,u wonder about a motor that don't match up get the multistar elite 2212 920 kv ones, and the afro 30 amp speed controller, recommended 4 the multirotor , and the hardcase control board with the offboard programmer, this is my first build I wanted a hex that I can use aspec or turnigy fast charge battery I get tired of waiting over1.5 hours for my phanton2 to charge battery.oh im gettint rid of the phantom 2 and the 2 battery I love hk stuff its awesome, and afforadable tooOttimo telaio in alluminio e fibra di vetro! Il carrello resiste a cadute di quasi 2 metriJust received my hexa and it was a quick mount. It is very nice and it seems strong. The landing crab does not look so strong, which is made of plastic. But overall it is a nice frame.Great value 650 size hexacopter frame. Better than I expected and I would definitely buy another one. There's a few comments around that folding it requires loosening off bolts and that it's too much trouble. That's not true though. If you use the washers on the outside bolts on the folding arms and don't over tighten them, you can hold the middle arms and give it a firm shove to fold. It will still be plenty firm enough to not move in flight. That might not be as an elegant solution as some folding frames, but hey, look at the price.flight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4fafKAED1I
blah blah blah blah (I dunno how long review should be to be published)not a bad kit, but you do get what you pay for! who ever is in charge of QC should be allotted a full bowl of rice to improve performance. I had a total of 13 screws that were not to any standard 2 didn't even have a socket head. and the instruction manual what a joke!
