This great looking Extra 260 is perfect for a 3D Pilot or club Sport Pilot looking to build a gas plane on a budget.
The balsa construction of the airframe is totally up to date and as a result, the all up weight of the model is low enough for 3D yet robust enough for Sport Flying. The covering is well done and the scheme is excellent for orientation. The included hardware is heavy duty and the model is as practical as you would expect with the usual plug in wings and massive canopy.
This handsome looking Extra is light enough to Sport Fly with a low cost 26cc engine, making it a really cheap build, with a 30cc engine installed, you will have unlimited vertical and a light enough flying weight for even the most extreme 3D maneuvers, either way, this is a great budget introduction to gas planes!
