Excellent aeroplane. Have a zippy compact 3700mah, 25c battery, 14x7 E prop. Get 8 minute flight with battery usage only 50pcnt. Have tunhigy plus 80amp controller. Weight of plane is 2100g and static thrust 3400g at 65amp consumption. Groung tested with pull scale attached to tail wheel. Good power to weight and flies great.

An incredibly tough plane. Ive crashed it several times going too slow on approach or in the air and suffered tip stall (which its near impossible to correct) and it has survived pretty much undamaged. The wing is heavily tapered. The kit is quick to build and all the supplied parts are of acceptable quality. The wing cut outs for the standard servos are perfect fit, I made sure to fit 5mm carbon tube in the wing leading edge. I blanked off the cut outs for the retracts with shrink film. The wing joining tube is heavy and substantial. Initially I fitted an NTM 42-48 650kvA motor with an 80A escape, a Zippy Compact 4000mAh 5 cell Lipo. and a 14x7 prop as indicated in the RCGroups forum .
After several very hairy tip stalling flights I decided that the weight and wing loading were too high for my style of flying. The standard undercarriage collapsed even with carbon outer reinforcement added.
I then fitted an old EMAX BL2826/06 950kv motor and used 2 x 2200 3S lipos in parallel and some lighter wheels and undercarriage . This saved 250g and changed the plane completely. I also tried 2 x 1600 4S lipos which gave the motor more authority. Lighter the plane was more maneuverable and flew better, and in this mode was very good value for money

I have now built 2 of these, the first succumbed to BEC failure and powered into the runway. The kit is so cheap i bought a second and fitted all the electrics back in. As others have said the packing can leave some dents in the foam but a little going over with a hot wet towel gets rid of most of it. The Decals are a complete joke, they don't stick except to themselves even if applied with a heat gun! I added the carbon spars in the tailplane, wings and ailerons as the moulding is there for them. I am running a JP Energy C4020 motor and 14x7 prop with 4S 4000 battery. It has no problem climbing vertically and performs lovely smooth aerobatics. Definitely a good value airframe if you are prepared to sort the minor niggles.

Got mine today you guest it. It came when after days of waiting I was out
the neighbour signed for it. If I had been in I would of told parcel force to take it back. The box had several stab wounds the box was in a right state crushed at one end and split at the other. But as it was now mine I got to work opening the box only to find that the people at HK had double boxed it and when this was opened all was fine great packing job HK . the model was in tip top condition. All I have to do is to do it justice now. HELL OF A LOT OF PLANE FOR LITTLE MONEY

Ottimo prodotto,

Ciao

arrived the saturday before new year, started building new years day excellent kit for the money, one of the best foam models i have had and seen very nicely done, epo just a pity about the decals? applied large red and blue to the left wing ? all ok went to apply large red and blue to right wing, er no stickky on it the paint just peeled off, not good might be able to salvage with some pva?? i dont know weather it needs the carbon rods in wing and tail i think there should be some warning to buyers to purchase the carbon rods for wing and tail ? unless it dosnt need them ?? i will fit them ??i have some ,nothing in the instructions about them ??? will fill retract holes with spare foam , will put flying reveiw when i have flown it t t f n john
