Introducing the HobbyKing FPV250 Ghost V4 edition drone, a mini sized drone with big FPV and night flying fun capability.

The FPV250 is a mini sized FPV drone measuring in at a mere 250mm. This durable, inexpensive FPV multi-rotor platform is perfect for FPV racing or obstacle course flying and at your local field, and now with the full arm length upper facing LEDs that light the translucent frame and props for orientation and the ultra-bright down facing white LEDs making the entire frame glow in the night sky and even more visible in the day. The Included center power distribution board also has a built in 5V UBEC system for aux component use.

The one-piece frame is extremely durable, giving you the confidence to go FPV barnstorming and yet only weighs 110 grams. The front platform is designed to handle up to a 2 servo pan and tilt camera setup and the rear platform supports the video transmitter, to keep it all nice and balanced. The FPV250 has a center bay large enough for most popular flight controllers and includes a top crash cage for protection. There are four integrated strap slots on the bottom to securely hold the battery in place for high G maneuvering. The FPV250 motor mounts can handle anything from a 1506 to 2208 motor and the vented arms provide plenty of cooling for your 7~12A ESCs.

Motor mounts holes are not working for FPV 250 Hobbyking Spec. I had to drill another 4 holes for every of the 4 motor mounts. I thought this will be a Plug and Play, but not :-( On the other hand it works like a charm when its done. Nice lights. Didnt used the PDB with the lights on, will use it on another project.

This was a replacement for the black frame of same design. Having a large number of LEDs has not noticeably reduced flight time. A huge benefit however is the identification of orientation when learning to fly, plus it looks cool.

One design flaw is the PDB blocks off the mounting positions for smaller flight computer boards like the Naze32 - requires some creative thinking to overcome.

Very bright and nice at night. Needs to drill 4 holes to fit a naze32. You have to drill the holes thru the bottom right thru one of the LED's. 3 of the LED's at this end will stop working, but doesnt matter. Then you can mount the PDB and above the mounting plate Produkt ID: 9171000569-0 . I will add pics to the "files tab".

I cant say anything about durability, because I dont use it as a FPV racer.

I would recommend it for cruising at night, espacially for kids. They will love the LED's.
